I am that friend that organizes private tours in magical, historic, and art-filled spaces around the city.

this chapter of @wellread.nyc started with a private tour of the renaissance & tarot exhibit at @themorganlibrary to walk through the history of tarot decks, the occult, and the women who kept this library stocked with sacred texts… featuring the Gutenberg bible, epic of Gilgamesh, the Egyptian book of the dead.

It was summer solstice last year when Evan and I somewhat randomly stumbled into what looked like a utopian surrealist parade in ny. It was made up of people of all ages, life size puppets and animals masks, dancing and intergenerational whimsy. I was naturally obsessed. And found the head puppet maker @jonathanzautner and founder @caspertk_ . Over the past several months we’ve been creating masks, puppets, windmills, and surreal creatures. Every Tuesday night includes cackling, gluing, singing as we prep for solstice. The most wholesome side quest.

@itsevanwalden just completed a huge owl mask that does a full rotation 🥹 and I wrapped up a golden sun windmill. There are a few more Tuesdays of making if you feel called to join the festivities and make something.

📷 It took 6 months, but I finally went through some of the film Greg & I shot at one of the most incredible parties I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending — one of SIX blowouts @mariadip & @kantyellow threw for their unbelievable week-long Tuscan wedding extravaganza.

Thank you for pouring so much of yourself into this event to make it all happen. Still glowing, even after all this time.

I’m so glad you let me tag along with @greg_boustead to celebrate your love 💕

There’s something special about visiting the same place, the same room, the same group of students with the same teacher, over the course of a semester. Seasons change, light transforms, people aren’t who they were when you started. To see more than a thousand curious young people have their hearts and minds opened by Robert Reich—an educator whose name and politics were kitchen table talk in my own home growing up—was beautiful. And to be able to help capture it for the big screen—what a gift!! Here are some favorite frames and moments of mine from The Last Class, which I hope you’ll consider going to see in an independent theater near you :)

Hating on billionaires, celebrating educators, and finding hope in kids these days—just a few of my favorite things to bring to life for the big screen. Thanks to @elliotkirschner and @ezrawolfinger for having me on to help shoot this one back in 2023.

THE LAST CLASS just had its world premiere at @dcdoxfest this weekend and you can see it in theaters around the country starting June 27. Grab your tickets at thelastclassfilm.com.

🌿IPFF OFFICIAL SELECTION 2025🌌

📽 Leaves of Three (реж.

📽 Leaves of Three (dir. Julia de Guzman, USA) 7' @juliadeguz

Whimsical, fantastical, cheeky, and chilling – a love letter to the most maligned member of the forest: Poison Ivy. To humans she is a threat we seek to eradicate, but to those who call her leaves home she is a friend, a sister, and a protector; often the first to rush in and cover land ripped open. And each year, as we warm the planet, she grows stronger and her territory expands.

🎥 17 MAY (Saturday) | 20:00-22:00 | Vlaykova Cinema @kinoteatarvlaikova
🎉 IPFF 5 - Screening of 6 short portrait films
🎫 Free admission
