The future of paper packaging is here, and it’s made from hemp! Paper no longer needs to be made with trees. Hemp paper is the future of paper packaging, and we are already making it here in the US! Every year, millions of trees get cut down just to make paper. Here at Hemp Paper Company, we have cracked the code on making tree paper a thing of the past. Hemp is the fiber of the future! We make paper from 100% hemp. It’s a farm crop that grows tall and straight like bamboo, and it’s ready in about 100 days. While it grows, it pulls harsh chemicals and heavy metals out of the soil and carbon out of the air. Plus hemp paper performs better than tree paper! Grown and made in America. 2x Stronger, so your groceries stay in the bag. Recycle it, or compost it in your backyard. ZERO-TREE™ hemp paper USDA Certified Biobased Paper from a farm, not a forest. Bags, boxes, cartons, and more at hemppaperco.com Help us spread the word! Tag any companies that should make the switch to zero-tree hemp paper packaging! #hemppaper #treefree #sustainablepackaging #madeinusa

We spent some time at Safeway Hawaii talking with customers about the new hemp paper bags, and the response was great. Julia was the ultimate brand ambassador connecting with people, answering questions and sharing more about what the bags are made from and why hemp paper matters. Pretty much everyone we spoke with thought they were cool — and a lot of people were surprised to see hemp being used in something as simple and everyday as a grocery bag. That’s exactly the point. The more hemp moves into products people actually use every day, the more we can reduce our reliance on traditional tree-based materials and show what this crop can really do. Huge credit to @Safeway for putting the bags into use, and to @Hawaiistatefcu for sponsoring the program and helping make it happen. We want to see more retailers and brands follow their lead. And we’re building toward something even bigger. Through our partnership with @HawaiiFibers, the goal is to grow more of the hemp here in Hawaii, process it here, and ultimately manufacture more of these products here as well. Grow it here. Make it here. Use it here. More to come. #HempPaper #HempPackaging #SustainablePackaging #IndustrialHemp #treefree

Hurricane Lala hit us hard. There’s a good chance we’re going to have to start this crop over, which is pretty disappointing considering how far we came. We went from putting seed in the ground to standing next to hemp plants over 8 feet tall. But this is farming. Nature doesn’t care about your plans. We’ll figure out what survived, learn from what didn’t, and get back to work. And if anything, this reinforces why we’re doing this in the first place. Agriculture is on the front line of a changing climate, and we need more practical solutions. Industrial hemp is one of the crops we’re committed to proving can be part of that. So yeah, this one sucks. But we’re just as determined as we were when we started — probably more. We’ll rebuild, replant and keep going. More to come. @HawaiiFibers #IndustrialHemp #SustainableAgriculture #ClimateSmartAgriculture #RegenerativeAgriculture #HawaiiAgriculture

Introducing Hawaii Fibers. HawaiiFibers.com / @hawaiifibers We’re working to grow and process industrial hemp here on Oʻahu and show what this crop could make possible for Hawaiʻi. With support from a Western SARE grant, we’re growing hemp to learn how it performs in Hawaiʻi’s climate while also studying its potential sustainability benefits. For those unfamiliar with industrial hemp, it can be used to make paper, bioplastics, textiles, building materials, fuel, food products, animal bedding, and much more. Our long-term goal is to help turn more of what we grow here into useful products made here—creating new opportunities for local agriculture and manufacturing while reducing Hawaiʻi’s dependence on imported materials. We’re still at the beginning, but industrial hemp is taking root in Hawaiʻi, and we’re looking forward to sharing the progress, challenges, and possibilities as we go. #hawaii #hemp #industrialhemp #hawaiiagriculture #madeinhawaii

Introducing the Zero-Tree™ Campaign. For $198, we’ll donate 1,000 hemp paper bags — in your name — to a food bank, classroom, beach cleanup, or local business of your choice. Every bag means one less tree cut down. This isn’t a carbon offset. This isn’t a pledge. It’s a real bag, going to a real cause, made from the strongest, fastest-growing, most soil-healing fiber on the planet. The math: → $198 → 1,000 bags donated in your name → 1 tree that stays standing → Hemp grows back in 120 days. Trees take 80 years. No greenwashing. No games. Just impact. 👉 hemppaperco.com/zerotree @thehemppapercompany

We all have traumas, setbacks, heartbreaks and disappointments — but what keeps us going? What makes life worth living? It is not the absence of fear nor is it predictability or control. The most powerful thing that keeps us going and makes life worth living is love.
