Your circle matters.

You will rise or fall, expand or contract, based in part on the people you consistently allow around you.

@iammorgangillis and I share two values that are incredibly important to both of us: growth and service.

And last night we got to celebrate a pretty extraordinary milestone in her business: a massive revenue goal hit in August that smashed every ceiling and raised the bar so high we are now all shooting for the moon. 🥂

But what I love most about this woman has very little to do with numbers.

She is an absolute weapon in business, but she is also one of the most grounded, unfussy, real humans I know.

No bs

No unnecessary flash.

Just a very big vision, an obsession with becoming better, and a genuine desire to help people build lives they are proud of.

And historically, she has not always been great at stopping to celebrate herself before moving immediately onto the next mountain.

So this dinner meant something.

Two Canadian women who somehow ended up building lives and businesses in the same city in Florida, sitting across the table from each other and actually taking a moment to say:

Holy mackerel!

Look what you built.

I have been thinking about it all morning because I am incredibly grateful for friendships like this.

I genuinely do not know if my vision for my own work would be as big as it is today if I had not watched women like Morgan go first.

Not because I want her business.

Because seeing someone you respect create something extraordinary expands your understanding of what is possible for YOU.

And when the person doing it shares your values, stays deeply human, and keeps service at the center of the work, it hits differently.

So yes, we celebrated the number.

But really, we celebrated everything it represents.

The growth.

The courage.

The work.

The people impacted.

And a woman allowing herself to actually receive the moment before racing toward the next one.

More of this. 🤍

2025 was an insane year of content and I have been so excited to make some end of year posts to share with ya’ll, and this was def top of the list.

I have been to 4 countries this year, traveled all over the US, done more than 70 sessions and shot over 19tb of content. Yup, thats a LOT.

Obviously I love all my clients, I love all the work I create but these images hold special places in my heart for so many reasons. You’ve got all the tiny images in the collage here, sharing so many of my fav moments of 2025. And then there is my 18 fav images of the year, ending with my top image of my entire career.

Natalia and the glittering water, her fierceness, power, sensuality and femininity all wrapped in one image

This creative idea I had for Maddie and it turning out better than I imagined

The way this image makes me feel the warmth of Katy’s presence and that she has been such a source of light for so many in this world

Jeanine’s contagious joyful spirit mixed with the magic of a random road in Sedona

The fun of capturing the wildness of motherhood while building an empire with my wonderful client Brittany

The memory of watching Shannon step fully into her power

Zena and her love of fashion

I had this crazy vision and I knew Helene was the one for it and my god this image has me in a chokehold

Paris for my birthday and the way Jordan light up every time the tower sparkled

My sweet sister on the coast of Oregon in this gown I bought her

Blurry images, fur coats and working with my now OG client Juliet for the first time

Shannon bringing a laptop into the ocean because, its ICONIC

Rebecca at the Louvre in Paris…this day was literal perfection

Finding a tiny patch of sunshine to create exactly what Lia wanted outside a studio in Miami

The sweet, magical souls from a retreat I photographed this fall for Katy

Brianna in this Las Vegas penthouse bathroom, fully dancing in her joy

Runner up for fav image is Maddie’s husband watching her give her first key note….I love the boogie shit, but this is what really matters. Feeling seen and loved

And the winner is….this image of Helene in Seaside Oregon, freezing for my fav image of all time.

You’re too damn powerful to keep playing in the shallow end, so let’s make one thing clear: in 2026, I am not accepting anything less than your full expression.

This list isn’t about self-improvement, it’s a recalibration to what has always been true. It’s a reminder of what you’re capable of when you’re not letting comfort, convenience, or habit make creative decisions for you. You don’t need to be softer, sweeter, or more strategic. You need to be awake to how potent you are and act accordingly.

I work with women who know damn well they’re a force, but even forces can drift. The antidote? Spending hours with someone whose entire attention is on you and whose goal is to really really see you. I get to hype you AND call you forward. I show you the edges you’ve stopped touching, the versions of yourself that deserve more screen time. And that? That makes money fall from the freaking sky.

2026 is not the year you coast… it’s the year you let the full, unhinged, brilliant version of you run the damn show. And I’m the one who knows how to put all that magic on display.

In my world, nice girls finish first.

Not because we’re louder.
Not because we use pressure or tricks.
But because we lead with connection, truth, and service.

This is what real sales can look like for midlife women in business.
