Happy Birthday to one of our very own 6AM OG’s @sarahgrubman

She’s always bringing great energy whether it’s in the miles she runs, weight she lifts or the high fives she’s giving to her teammates. Happy Birthday Sarah!!

“I DON’T CARE WHAT THE DOCTORS SAY.” 🥶🔥

That line says everything.

At Strong New York, I had the opportunity to sit down with UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes and hear him speak about life after the accident, the obstacles he faced, and the mentality it took to keep moving forward when the odds were against him.

This wasn’t just a conversation about fighting inside the Octagon. This was about fighting for life, recovery, purpose and resilience.

When the doctors gave their prognosis, Matt’s mentality was simple:

“I DON’T CARE WHAT THE DOCTORS SAY.”

That’s a fighter’s mentality. 🥊💯

Much respect to @strongnewyork and @kenny_santucci for continuing to build a space where fitness, community and powerful stories like this can come together.

And a big thank-you to @animal for showing love and being part of this journey. 🤝🔥

🎤 FIT TALK STORIES x STRONG NEW YORK

We kept the questions simple — but the answers were real.

🔥 What’s one workout you think is overrated?
His answer: Pilates.

Then we asked:

💭 In ONE word, how would you describe the Strong New York experience?

At first he thought Community… but said that word gets used a lot.

His final answer?

🤝 UNITY.

And that really sums up what Strong New York is about — different athletes, coaches, creators, trainers and fitness communities all coming together under one roof.

No matter how you train, where you come from, or what discipline you represent…

UNITY through fitness. 💪🏾

Never thought I’d be the girl shouting out my “gym fam” or spending a Saturday at a fitness expo, but here we are. What I love most about STRONG NY is that everyone finds their own way in, whether it’s for the workouts, cold plunges or the speakers.

Only @kennysantucci and @kristiemuller could bring this many good people together & pull off something this epic in a nor’easter. Happy 10th anniversary @strongnewyork! Another one for the books with my @thestrengthclubnyc fam 💪🏾
