I didn’t realize how close I actually was…

I was just lying on the ground, camera in hand,
completely focused on the wild dogs in front of me.

Trying not to move.
Trying not to make a sound.

Everything felt calm for a second.

Until one of them suddenly walked straight towards me…
and didn’t stop.

Way closer than I expected.
Like really close.

And while I’m still trying to process that moment,
someone behind me suddenly whispers:

“Buffalos…”

I turn my head
and there they are. Right behind us.

No distance. No warning.

I swear my heart just stopped for a second.

In that moment you realize real quick…
you’re not just there to watch anymore.

You’re in it.

Somehow I kept filming.

Not sure if that was a good idea 😅
