POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Yes, folks, I do venture into the world of books for adults, lol. Loved Nell, a librarian with a peripatetic mind who struggles to keep a lid on her childhood abuse trauma and her mother’s continued dismissiveness. She regains her sense of self worth and willingness to reach out to others via her pilgrimage to Laura Ingalls Wilder’s home. Along the way she ponders the darker truths behind the Little House stories while learning how to engage in friendship and the possibility of love. In the process, she helps a young girl and her mother avoid the mistakes ( following their own trauma) that kept her closed off and silent for years. A beautiful and sometimes funny book with a satisfying (and spicy) ending. Because yes, this is ultimately a love story. Great book!

Thanks to @litquake for inviting me to present on the After the Launch: Raising Your Book to Survive & Thrive panel today! A packed house welcomed me, @ordinarysublime, @arielfionagore, and @juliaparktracey to talk about all the important ways to keep your book relevant and on people’s radar. I also hung out to see my author pals @brittastromeyer, @mariannelonsdale, and @matthewfelix on their amazing panels about artist statements and alternative methods of publishing. A great day for books and writers! 📚✍️🤓

You always know it’s gonna be a good time when you get three women authors in the same place. They came together to support sister Author Liz Collins at the launch of her speculative Ecofantasy, Whalespeak. 🐳🫍🐋

These flowers celebrate MY PERSONAL NEW YEAR (aka birthday). This is the year I get stronger, healthier. This is the year GABRIEL, a novel about a boy, adrift, a lifetime literary achievement, enters production for publication & will be making its way.
