“The MicroCosmic Oracle” is a deck that combines astrology, herbalism, and myths and symbolism connected with the animal world.

The set includes 60 excellentquality, slightly thicker cards with a matte finish and metallic shiny holo edges (love them!).
Each card features a beautiful illustration with flora and fauna associated with a particular card message. In addition, pictures include symbolism connected with zodiac signs, planets, and elements, as well as a geometric symbol created by the deck’s author based on the numerology of the individual zodiac signs.
At the bottom of each card, you’ll find its title and the astrological placement it represents, such as Mercury in Virgo, Sun in Pisces, and so on.

The deck comes with an English language guidebook that explains the meaning of each astrological placement, as well as the symbolism of the plant and animal assigned to each card. I also really like the way the guidebook itself has been designed. The page edges are color coded to correspond with the different sections: the introduction and the cards associated with the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. This makes navigating the guidebook very intuitive and genuinely convenient.

Overall, I think “The MicroCosmic Oracle” is a very well done and thoughtfully designed deck. Of course, it isn’t an astrology manual, but I really like the way it explores different zodiac signs through their placements in selected planets. There is genuinely a lot of educational content here relating to astrology, herbalism, and mythology, which means the deck can be much more than just a divination tool.

I find the messages of the cards to be strongly connected with everyday life, current emotions, and whatever is happening in the here and now. That’s exactly why I enjoy using “The MicroCosmic Oracle” as a daily pull or as an additional layer in a tarot reading.

North West Tarot Symposium 2026

This is my haul from NWTS 2026 in Portland. It was a fantastic experience and lots of fun! I miss everyone!

Notice at the top that TSA left me a little love letter! They searched my bag at PDX and left a note inside! I'm sure the TSA officer had a question for Julia Y @juliayillustrations as to why there aren't rising signs in her astrological 'Micro Cosmic Oracle' deck! Ha!!

I'm traveling back from The Northwest Tarot Symposium today, so I'll keep it brief.

This week you probably have a lot on the docket, so I suggest you conserve your energy. Secure your mask before assisting others and all that. Maybe focus on self care or organization of some sort. It can bring order to chaos.

This oracle deck is the Microcosmic Oracle by @juliayillustrations (I met her this weekend and she's amazing). I learned that scorpions can survive up to a year on one meal. It might seem like there are only small morsels of joy right now for some of us. Hold onto them. I promise this won't last forever even if it feels like it.

Meet the newest Oracle deck in my collection, the #MicroCosmicOracle created by @juliayillustrations
Thank you so so so much @redfeather.mbs for sending me such a gorgeous deck to work with & add to my collection! I'm already in love with it!
Not only are the cards absolutely beautiful (just look at the sides of it! I can't stop looking at those rainbows on it!!), the guidebook that comes with it is amazing! There's so much information in it about every card & can help with learning about astrology too! 200 pages to help us learn even more about ourselves & the cards themselves! I cannot recommend this deck enough! It's absolutely perfect!!
Looking for somewhere to purchase a copy for yourself? As this is officially a Mass Market deck now, you can find it nearly anywhere decks are sold! I am so thrilled to begin working with this deck. It will be sharing its message with all of us tomorrow for Oracle Sunday!
If you're interested in a reading with it, just let me know. The guidebook has a lot of great spreads that I'll be happy to slings the cards for you!

Don't forget, too, to share a link for Buckhannon & Weston WV to enter for a free reading from me. If you are able to donate or have already, let me know, & I'll give you an entry for that as well✨️🐦‍⬛

🔮Lammas Presenter and Vendor Spotlight ✨ Julia Y will be joining us Sunday August 9, 12PM–5PM at the Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027.

2:30 PM in the Jersey Room
“Your Mars Wants to Fight: Connecting to Mars in your chart to find your path to activism and community support.”

This is an introductory level workshop by Julia Y, local artist, astrologer, and the creator of “The MicroCosmic Oracle.” No previous astrological knowledge is required. Handouts will be provided. Please comment with a 🔮 if you plan on attending!

This talk is for those who are trying to find a sustainable and authentic form of resistance to systemic oppression. Mars is treated as a troublemaker in astrology. As a malefic planet, they’re responsible for war, violence, and aggression. But what if Mars just needs a constructive outlet for anger? When applied with awareness and intention, we can channel our rage into activism.

We’ll discuss Mars throughout the 12 zodiac signs and collaboratively identify ways that we can use our Mars placements to fight for the good of our communities.
