Our Canadian roots are showing!

(W)right On Communications was honored to co-host a welcome reception for Canada's new Consul General in Los Angeles, @kamalkheralib. Thank you to our cohosts: maplesocal and Canada's Consulate General in Los Angeles.

San Diego's @mayortoddgloria became the first U.S. mayor to welcome Consul General Khera to her post in-person. We see that as a sign of more good things to come between Canada and San Diego! Agree, @canadians_in_sandiego ?

🍁 DID YOU KNOW? As the San Diego border region’s third largest foreign direct investor after only the UK and Japan, Canada supports 8,949 jobs and $881 million in wages, particularly in the manufacturing, professional services and retail trade sectors.

I’m so grateful for this group, the friendships we’ve built and everything I continue to learn from them, in business and in life.

Already looking forward to the next time we’re all together. 🩵

Bringing together some of the best minds in PR!

I just returned from the @internationalprnetwork North America Regional Meeting, where I had the privilege of serving as Chair of North America and leading our time together with independent agency leaders from across the US and Canada.

One of the things I value most about IPRN is the opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another and build relationships with leaders who truly understand this industry.

And I was especially happy to have Sam there with me for this one! 💙

So grateful for the connection, collaboration and inspiration that came out of our time together.

The strategy to grow your business is changing. 👀

It’s no longer just about ranking on Google with SEO keywords.

Now, brands need to show up in AI tools like ChatGPT through what’s called Answer Engine Optimization. 🤖

The future of marketing isn’t just being searched… it’s being the answer. 📈

Busy day one for us at @isnaesna in San Diego with networking, panels and media meetups. And it all started with a sold out WRISE breakfast event organized by Andrea Saxenhofer and other San Diego chapter leaders where Julie and Andrea were too engaged in the moment to pause for a photo! #iesna

💥2025 - what a year. How quickly we can forget all we did in a year. But looking back through my pictures in my phone brings it all back.

I traveled like crazy ✈️ - between work, friends and family - I had trips almost every month - Australia to Greece to Portugal and everything in between. 🙌

It was a pivotal year in the business– we kicked it off with a retreat to Mexico, we acquired clients across the country - even internationally and jumped into new verticals in AI and the franchise industry - grew our experience in non profit, finance and the culinary world - and even announced a new restaurant opening at the Vatican. We celebrated nine years with a beautiful summer party in my home. I deepened my leadership and community involvement - with positions on the U.S. Chamber Small Business Council and as an Executive Board Member and Regional Chair of @internationalprnetwork. I increased my charity involvements with organizations like @misericordiahome , @alzassociation and Love Purse. I also won a few major awards - including 100 Women to KNOW in America through an amazing global media company @theknowwomen - where I am deepening my involvement in 2026. 💪🏽

My kids are absolutely killing it in their education and life - I could not be more proud to see Hannah head toward graduation next May with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from @cornelluniversity, and Adam finished his Masters from @northwesternu in Sports Administration, and already has his first full-time job lined up. ❤️❤️

I also found ways to finally take better care of myself and shed not only the weight but the doubts and insecurities that have plagued me much of my life. I am now a gym addict as well as a yoga lover and have found ways to calm my mind. 🙏🙌

2026 is the year my spirit rises to be who I really want to be. No more doubts. No more holding back.

Entering year 10 of @mekkymedia braver, stronger and bolder and loving my circle fiercely. You know who you are! 🙏 Praying for health and peace. Thank you for all the memories! 💙😍

Happy New Year to all!

Grateful to our community for engaging in these critical conversations.

Here’s to 2026 and the future we’re building together. ✨

I’m thrilled to share that yesterday, Good For Others Foundation hosted an incredible Marketing and Communications Peer Group session! A huge thank you to Julie Wright from (W)right On Communications for leading the way and making the session both enlightening and engaging. We delved into the world of AI and explored how it can revolutionize marketing and communications for nonprofits.

Special gratitude also goes out to Goodwill San Diego and Darlene Cossio for hosting us at their venue. The turnout was fantastic and it was truly inspiring to see so many passionate nonprofit professionals eager to innovate.

Stay tuned for more collaborative events ahead as we continue to empower our community together!
