Day 1,000 of running a mile or more in the books. 🙏🏼

Been running since January 11, 2024 and hit it today on October 6, 2026.

Wanted to challenge myself and ran 10 miles. The longest run I’ve ever done.

This definitely was my toughest run physically.

Techsgiving has officially become a yearly tradition for me.

This was my third year attending, and at this point it feels like LinkedIn Homecoming 😂—familiar faces, real conversations, and a growing DMV tech ecosystem that keeps getting stronger every year.

Last year at Techsgiving, I found my 2025 resolution:
to help people who aren’t always seen shine, and to intentionally uplift rising stars.

Looking back now, I can confidently say that mission was an absolute success.

As I begin shaping my 2026 vision, my focus is on developing my kingship philosophy—still in the works, but rooted in purpose, leadership, discipline, and service.

Grateful for the community, the connections, and the continued growth.
The work continues.

The reason I started Breach One Teach One is simple.

First & foremost, I want to help people!

I learned at a young age that the more we give, the more we receive. I have been blessed to have real mentors in my life who gave me game, opened my mind, challenged me, & helped me see things differently.

So I felt like this podcast would be a good way for me to give back and build a community of like minded youngest in charge professionals.

You guys know I’m in #cybersecurity, so the name Breach One Teach One came from putting my world together with the famous saying “each one teach one.”

If you give someone a fish, they eat for a day.

If you teach someone how to fish, they can eat forever.

That is the whole point of this podcast.

Yes, I will be interviewing cybersecurity professionals who can help guide you, coach you, & give you real advice on how to land a role in cybersecurity. Even show us what the latest tools are.

But I also want to introduce you to some of the world class mentors I have been blessed to learn from.

People in health & wellness.
People in finance.
People in human performance.
People in business.
People who have been through real life, figured some things out, & have wisdom worth passing down.

Because a breach is not just when a hacker gets into a system.

A breach can also be a loss.
A bad decision.
A season where life humbled you.
A moment where you had no choice but to figure it out.

That is what Breach One Teach One is about.

Learning from the people who have been through the fire & came back with something to teach.

I’m excited to announce that the Youngest in Charge Playbook is officially out.

This is something I’ve been working on behind the scenes for months now, and it’s finally here.

@beyastem 2026 RECAP

This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the BEYA (Becoming Everything You Are) STEM Conference for the third year in a row.

Every time I come to this conference, I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity and to be able to see all the connections I’ve built over the years.

It also reminds me how far I’ve come in such a short period of time.

This year was a full circle moment for me. I had the opportunity to lead a #cybersecurity workshop for high school students, where I taught them how to start a career in cybersecurity.

Seeing the students engaged, asking questions, and truly wanting to be there made presenting that much easier.

I’m thankful that I was able to give back and be that representation for the students, showing them that anything is possible, even at a young age.

On the first day, I had the opportunity to sit down and have lunch with Dr. Victor McCrary, Erin Lynch, and Shadei Laird.

It was great reconnecting with Dr. McCrary and getting to know Erin and Shadei more. I really enjoyed our conversations and was able to learn a lot from our time together.

On the last day, I had the opportunity to have lunch with Dorothy Phillips.

I’ve been able to connect with Dorothy at the past three BEYA conferences, and last year we had the chance to get to know each other more over breakfast.

Being able to continue that conversation over lunch this year meant a lot. It’s always special reconnecting with mentors.

During lunch with Dorothy, I also had the opportunity to meet Lisa Waldropt-Early and Michael Early.

I’m grateful I got the chance to share my story and journey while also learning from their experiences and perspectives.

Moments like that are something I don’t take for granted.

I want to say thank you to the entire BEYA team, Ty Oliver Taborn, Tyrone Taborn, Sarah Blum, Rayondon Kennedy, and everyone else who makes this conference possible.
