you know what, after making so many matcha lattes with this powder, i feel like i’m only now getting the right ratio for it...🤭 the aroma is floral and grassy, with both notes coming through clearly. there’s a fresh, green scent to it that makes it quite interesting even before tasting. as usucha, the floral notes are more noticeable, with a delicate taste and minimal bitterness. it has a light, clean finish that allows the floral character to stand out without being overpowered by bitterness. as a latte, the floral notes are still there, along with a hint of umami and grassy notes. but what makes it stand out to me is this PUMPKIN SEED taste. 😲 it’s such a unique flavor that i don’t think i’ve experienced in other matchas. i also realized that it doesn’t really need any sweetener. for me, it’s more enjoyable as it is, where i can appreciate its natural flavors without anything overpowering them. — here’s my golden ratio for this matcha: 4g matcha 15g water at 75c for paste 20g water to froth 80g ice 100g full cream milk - @emborgasia 20g oat milk - @oatbedient.ph @oatbedient — matcha: kaori - @juri.matcha chawan: @carlabrampottery beads: @its.aprilmay_ charms: @her_matcha_ coasters: @homeguds @matchababepatty — #matcha #matchalover #matchalatte #reels #matchaoftheday [matcha • matcha lover • matcha latte • matcha of the day • recipe • home cafe]

the aroma is very roasted, creamy, and caramel-like, with a hint of cocoa. taste-wise, it’s chocolatey with little to no bitterness, and i’m getting this subtle peanut butter-like note that i really enjoyed. i kept it simple and just used full cream milk, and honestly, the hojicha really shines through this way. i also made a hojicha sesame cream to put on top, and the nutty sesame flavor complemented the hojicha so well. 🤎 such a simple hojicha latte, but the flavors work so nicely together. — hojicha: kuro - @juri.matcha chawan: @carlabrampottery sifting beads: @its.aprilmay_ sifter: @hikariandfoam syrup: @sunnyborisdaily #hojicha #recipe #homecafe #reels #drinks

Happy weekend, y’all! 🤎 POV: effortlessly whisked matcha 😋✨ 🍵 Matcha Spotlight: @juri.matcha — Kaori 💚 Color: Pretty green with a hint of a yellow undertone 🌰 Aroma: Mildly sweet and nutty with a hint of vegetal aroma 🍵 On its own: Bold umami upfront, hints of nuttiness & roasted notes, with a vegetal character on the finish 🥛 As a latte: Mild umami with a nutty bitterness that doesn’t linger, followed by a vegetal finish 🍯 + Agave: Makes it creamier and balances the flavors even more ✨ Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied for me, SMOOTH with a slight astringent finish Surprisingly, this matcha foams up SO fast! 🤭 I’d say it’s great for your daily matcha rituals—it has that nutty character and balanced bitterness, especially when finished with a touch of agave. And of course, I love how smooth the texture and mouthfeel are! 💚🍵 My ratio for this review: 4 matcha / 40 water / 80 oatmilk @oatbedient.ph (no sweetener 🤭) Gifted, not a pro—just sharing my personal experience. starting with a nice vegetal aroma, then as it’s brewed, the aroma becomes noticeably creamier and milkier. the first sip brings a light umami that feels soft and well-balanced. it has a really creamy and smooth texture with a subtle natural sweetness that slowly comes through as you drink it. the flavor is gentle but still has enough depth. what i really love is how clean and easy-drinking it is. there’s absolutely no bitterness or astringency, so the finish feels soft, smooth, and pleasantly sweet. – matcha: kaori - @juri.matcha sifting beads: @its.aprilmay_ chasen charm: @her_matcha_ disclaimer: not a professional, just sharing my personal experience with this matcha. #matcha #matchalover #matchalatte #reels #matchaoftheday

Literally, so far the best local hojicha powder I’ve tried! 🍂🤎 The Hojicha Dark Roast from @juri.matcha has such a lovely profile sweet with a touch of nuttiness and creaminess. The aroma is also sooo good! 😍 I’m definitely not a pro when it comes to reviewing hojicha, but based on my personal taste, this powder is absolutely worth trying. If you love hojicha, I highly recommend giving this one a try! ✨

Juri Dark Roast Hojicha 🍂🤎 This is actually my second time trying a hojicha brand, and as someone who’s really into matcha, I didn’t expect to love it this much! But this Dark Roast Hojicha from Juri definitely made me want more. 🥹 I love how bold, rich, and creamy the hojicha is. It’s also so easy to whisk and creates the most beautiful microfoam, which makes every cup extra satisfying. ✨ This is just for the launch, so if you’d like to order, kindly message @juri.matcha . They also sell hojicha and other powders, as well as drinks! 🍵 Thank you so much, @juri.matcha , for sending this powder my way and for trusting me. I truly appreciate it! 🥹🫶
