BLOOD RED ROSE is out today - as is the album CANNOT BUY MY SOUL 2020. It's a tribute to one of our country's greatest songwriters and storytellers, Kev Carmody. The album features covers by a veritable who's who of Australian music, all of us clamouring to pay tribute to Kev - @paulkelly, @missyhigginsmusic, @courtneymelba, @kaseychambersmusic, @jimmybarnesofficial, @electricfields_music, @bernardfanning, @tex_perkins, @moju_music - and so many more.

But I implore you to take some time to soak up Kev's originals too - the depth and breadth of his music and lyrics are astonishing. There are songs of protest, of history, of anger, of love, of heartbreak, of stewardship of the land, of dreams, of blood, of incarceration, of defiance, of respect and of hope. The stories of Indigenous Australia, and of all of us, conveyed with tenderness and with rage, with wisdom and insight, with heart and with pride. His songwriting is truly peerless.
