When I was a young student in @tudublin_grangegorman (then DIT Aungier street) I travelled to San Diego to do my J1 and made a documentary series about the experience for RTE in 1999. This is why it was extra special today to receive an award for Best International Short at the @sdfilmfestival at their 25th anniversary festival. My former student @celii.ilec kindly drove me all the way there and we had a blast! 💥 Thanks to the festival and our amazing cast and crew ❤️ #irishfilm #gracefilm #disabilityrights @screenireland @cultureireland
