The southpaw double under felt like learning to jump all over again. Different side, different clock, and my feet wanted no part of it at first.
The double under crossover took me longer than the 360. Crossing the arms is easy on its own, it’s holding the cross through two rope passes that eats you up. Cross before the jump, not in the air.
The 360 only made sense once I stopped trying to spin through the jump. Jump first, turn in the air, let the rope keep its own pace.
On the rope itself, PVC is good and it’s fast, but that speed is exactly what fights you when you’re learning tricks. The beaded rope spins slower, and that slower turn is what lets you actually feel the rope come around and get good feel. The weight and the click give you a beat you can read.

What started as me jumping rope in my own little corner of the world has somehow turned into being part of a whole COMMUNITY. 🥹🪢🌎

People from different cities, states, countries, different walks of life… all coming together to jump rope, celebrate the little wins, cheer each other on, and just HAVE FUN.

And honestly? I’m so grateful I found this little corner of the internet. ❤️

Some days I’m jumping rope because I’m proud of myself.
Some days I’m jumping because I need to get some feelings out. 😂
Some days I’m barely motivated but I show up anyway.

And now I get to watch other people show up too. We’re all doing it in our own way, at our own pace, in our own little corners of the world. 🌎🪢

That’s pretty freaking cool.

So… I’m passing the rope along. 👀🪢

Day 30 of the 30 days walk and run challenge.
It was a honor to participate!!!
I wanted to have my best results at the end and I served!!
Over 35000 steps and over 25 kilometers! I am proud of myself.
And at the same time sad that it over. Thank you all so much for the experience.

My fastest half marathon ever despite change of weather during the race. Experienced April in September in Copenhagen @cphhalf
Almost 1.5 minutes faster than the previous PB from almost a year ago.
That PB bell was so satisfying despite the heavy rain that started pouring in the last kilometre of the run.

One of the coolest things about learning to jump rope is the awesome community of people who come with it 🫶
