🔥 UK'S FIRST ILLUSIONARY STYLES BOOTCAMP! 🔥

What a day! ❤️

A massive shout-out to
Alex Mechanikool, D-Shapes and Ally for sharing your knowledge, your craft and your passion.

@alex_mechanikool
@_allymation_
@dshap3s

And a huge thank you to everyone who came through, supported the vision and helped make the first ever UK Illusionary Styles Bootcamp happen. 🙏🏽

For a long time, I’ve been saying that we need to bring the focus back to education in the UK street dance scene. Competitions are great, battles are exciting, and pushing the boundaries of what we can do is part of the culture.

But there’s also something incredibly special about taking the time to study these styles, geek out over the details, explore the possibilities and really understand the depth behind the movement.

There’s so much to discover in popping, waving, tutting, animation and all these incredible illusionary styles.

The techniques, the concepts, the creativity, the history and the endless ways we can experiment with movement.

And imagine doing all of that in an environment where everyone is there to learn, share, ask questions and support each other. No egos, just a genuine love for the styles and a willingness to grow together. ❤️

That’s what I wanted to create with Illusionary Styles. A space where knowledge is valued, specialists can share their craft, and dancers can deepen their understanding while still having fun and geeking out over the things we love.

Seeing so many people get behind that vision has been amazing. This is just the beginning of the journey, and I’m excited to see where we can take it.

Thank you to every teacher, every dancer and everyone who supported the first one. You’ve helped lay the foundations for something special.

More to come. This is only the beginning! 🔥❤️

MONDAY WAVING FOUNDATIONS

@basedancestudios 6–7pm.

Class Covering:

• Foundation & basics
• Technique & flow
• Concepts
• Fressatyle development

Waving is a street dance style rooted in the West Coast US scene. It's built around creating the illusion of a continuous wave flowing through your body like energy or liquid moving from your fingertips all the way through your arms, chest, and legs.
It's one of the most body-aware styles in street dance.

Thats what makes it rare & somthing all dancer should have.

Let's keep building it together 👊
