SOUND BATH WITH THE HERD. SATURDAY 24th OCTOBER
10 - 1 pm.

Come the herd.
Come to nature.
Come back to yourself.
A space where sound meets the earth,
where the body remembers how to move,
and the mind can soften.
Listen to the rhythm of the herd,
to the wind, the trees, the silence.
Let your body guide you.
Move with intuition,
with the wisdom of the heart.
Nothing to achieve.
Nothing to become.
Just listen.
Feel.
Breathe.
Move.
And slowly, beneath the sounds,
beneath the movement,
beneath everything you thought you were…
there you are.
Coming home to yourself.

In our hectic daily lives, we have lost something vital: our connection to nature. We no longer perceive ourselves as part of nature, losing touch with our own inner nature and natural rhythms. Our animals can bring us back to nature—provided we allow it and don’t miss out on a dog walk by keeping our eyes glued to our phones, or force a human-structured lifestyle upon our horses.
Back to nature! Easier said than done—but where do we begin?

Sometimes, we need to hit the reset button and escape the daily grind to rediscover ourselves. Find your reset amidst a herd of self-determined horses in the rolling hills of the unspoiled Portuguese countryside. Comment with a 💚 if you’d like to learn more.

Neugierig? Kommentiere 🐴!

200 hectares, a self-determined herd, a life close to nature—it’s a dream, but do the horses even want to communicate with humans in such a setting?
The short answer is yes—but the communication is different. These horses demonstrate how interaction and connection work in a natural, primal, and unadulterated way. They teach us to be more mindful in our perception, to listen, and to engage as authentic partners in dialogue.

Would you like to experience this for yourself?
Come visit us in Portugal! Join Juuna for „HorseListening“ with the herd and discover new ways of communicating with horses alongside Natalie. Curious? Comment with a 🐴!

Communication with horses is often one-sided. Let’s be honest: it usually boils down to getting the horse to display a specific behavior. Whether it’s performing a movement, refraining from unwanted behavior, or simply standing still at the grooming area, moving at a certain gait, or other everyday tasks—the human communicates what they want, and the horse is expected to carry it out accordingly.

But what happens when we quiet ourselves and simply listen before communicating with horses?
That opens up not only new avenues and worlds of interaction with horses but also the chance to engage in a genuine, equal dialogue—allowing us not just to teach horses, but to learn from them as well.

In „The Silent Knowing,“ we enter the world of horses in a quiet, mindful way. Each morning, Natalie teaches —through both theory and practice— new perspectives based on her unique approach to animal communication. In the afternoon, Juuna invites you to join her herd for a „HorseListening“ session; these horses live a self-determined life across 200 hectares.

We are opening 6 places
for the 6-day Deep Field Study
"Being a Horse Naturally" in Portugal.
These days are not a romantic retreat.
They are an intensive time of learning.
You will gain deep insight into
natural herd behaviour,
healthy living environments for horses,
regenerative grazing management
and effective water retention in the landscape.
We work directly within the habitat of a self-determined herd.
You are not observing theory —
you are experiencing functional structures in practice.
My knowledge is grounded in years of experience
accompanying herds,
in natural horse keeping
and in regenerative land stewardship.
If you truly want to understand horses —
beyond training methods
and beyond conventional keeping models —
then this Deep Field Study is for you.
We deliberately limit participation to 6
so that real learning, individual questions
and deep understanding become possible.
