THIS SATURDAY (October 10) is the special Understudy Performance of THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD! Get to know KOSI EGUCHI and LOUIS NG, our ✨wunderstudy✨ castmate-roommate besties ... LOUIS NG (Lone u/s) is a San Francisco native thrilled to be making his professional debut with Artists at Play! He started his acting journey at the New Conservatory Theatre Center when he was just 10 years old where he soon found his love for creating stories. In his last year at the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television, Louis' love for storytelling spans from staged productions and devised works to films and commercial work. KOSI EGUCHI (Ma u/s) is a senior at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. Kosi's credits include "Girl On An Altar," "Coriolanus," "Urgent Care" (HFF), and "Good Tidings" (Edinburgh FF). Kosi is deeply grateful to the Artists at Play family and creative team for trusting him with this story. He is honored to begin this new chapter with a company dedicated to uplifting AAPI voices. Utilizing the beauty and athleticism of Chinese opera, THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD explores the friendship between two immigrant laborers during the 1867 Chinese railroad workers’ strike—and the lives they hope to build as they chase the American Dream.
