January 2026 rallyX racing season recap. (Late report, but better than never)
Opening Race in Ramona, gave rides to many 1st time rally fans. Including the Submarina Owner John, & the Guy who is in charge of the events at the fairgrounds!
I was also in charge of starting line for 1st session.

I think it was a little bit of an off day for me, but still secured 2nd Place in class and 5th overall put of 43 drivers that day. Looking to continue to hone my short course skills with AWD Subaru while I continue to build the ARA rally car this season. I have some of the fastest drivers this sport has to offer in the country to face off against this upcoming season. Never an easy fight, not to mention if I let-up or have a mechanical issue, other upcoming drivers are always hungry to take advantage. So looking forward to a new season.

I dont have everyone's name and i only had a handful of photos in my phone. If you see someone or have a tag, list it in the comments and ill edit with update. If you have more photos or videos of this day, send em over and I can post them possibly in the future.
Last slide was an old homie who showed up to check things out.

Race #1 in the books!
Race #2 update coming soon!

Thank you to my friends and family for supporting.
And San Diego SCCA for the opportunity to rip the wrx and give rides and have a good time.

Fresh engine, fresh oil! 🤝

With the 2.5RS engine finally back together, we’re getting some LIQUI MOLY 5W-30 and a K&N oil filter in it before firing it back up!

One step closer to SEMA, and one step closer to handing the keys over to one of you! 👀

I think we may have gone a little overboard detailing an engine that’s going to spend its life under a hood… 😂

With the 2.5RS getting closer to SEMA, we finally have the engine accessories back together, and MAN did this turn out good!

⚡ DC Power Engineering supplied a seriously nice high-output alternator to keep up with the electrical demands of the car.

⚙️ CVF Racing hooked us up with their beautiful machined aluminum pulleys, adding a little extra detail to the front of the engine.

🎨 Hubcap Annie’s knocked it out of the park with the powder coating, using Prismatic Powders to bring some color back into this 25-year-old Subaru engine.

🔧 Kartboy helped finish things off with some awesome engine bay accessories, including that billet oil cap.

And holding the whole thing together while we work is Company23’s EJ engine stand adapter, which has made working on this boxer engine SO much easier.

It’s honestly getting hard to put this thing back in the car when it looks this good sitting on a stand. 😂

Huge thanks to everyone involved in bringing this little EJ25 back to life! 🤝

Man, Saturday was a day! Shout out to everyone that came by the forester and chatted it up, hope the car was everything you guys thought it was in person for all the new comers! My favorite part about @subiefest every year is the people! We have such a unique community and I hope we stay strong and firm to this amazing car culture this awesome event has created over the years.
What an honor to not only take runner up best Forester but to be completely caught off guard by the @subimods choice award presented by @k4rt30y 🏆
To think these stand up group of people even felt my car deserved a trophy out of all the phenomenal builds there on Saturday is mind blowing. Thank you guys, tons of blood, sweat, tears, hours and PASSION, have been poured in to this orange turd over the many years of ownership so it definitely hit me hard the next day to realize I brought some hardware home. 🥹
Thank you ALL who put so much hard work and thought in to these events Subiefest is a one of a kind and we gotta keep showing out to keep stuff like this alive so be sure to tune in next year 💪🏻
So glad to have seen some buddies I basically only get to see once a year and hoping that changes next year, truly want to be better and more active next year with the car shows so maybe I’ll be seeing you guys more in some out of state shows.
Having my family with me Saturday truly was the cherry on top!!❤️
Once again shout out to all of you that stopped by and said hello 🫶🏻
