Been curious for awhile about aura photography. Don’t care if it’s real or not because it was worth the price of entertainment

My aura is predominantly orange which is indicative of a period of change. I’m receptive to creative energy with all the yellow on my left hand side, the green circling my heart center & in parallel lines across my chest indicate openness and loving energy, and the two green orbs above my head on my upper right hand side are the guardian angels currently guiding my spirit

This year was wild 🙏

As I said in the ceremony they’re an inspiring example of how to build a life, a home and a beautiful wood chipped backyard sanctuary with your best friend

Took a lot of restraint not to add Wu Tang lyrics but I sneaked in some Prince, Louis Armstrong & Phish without being too over the top about it

My best advice for 1st time officiants is to be prepared with a back pocket story about rings for when you need to improvise during the ceremony. Ring Security was extra secure so I told the audience about the significance of an Irish claddagh ring which stands for love, loyalty & friendship while the rings came out of their box ☘️ @universallifechurch

Deserving of its own post - last Weds I tried fire for the first time post accident on the Groove Lab at @purplebeetv

Used my belly dancing sword bc I feel a lot of confidence with the prop & thought it was best to keep the fire as far as possible from my injury site. The second snip is a time lapse I made with my phone & the last 2 vids are what it looked like on the livestream

Still haven’t watched the entire replay bc it was kind of an emotional wow. Didn’t tell anyone but @dboz at the time but now I’m telling all of y’all that I went inside the studio and cried (a lot) after a successful first burn

The last couple days I’ve been feeling some nerve pain in my purple shin so am posting this reminder to myself of how far I’ve come while in the middle of a setback. Healing from a burn of this magnitude is slow and takes a lot of hard work behind the scenes but I’m on the upswing overall

Earlier this spring my mom gave up a month of her life to move into my guest room and take care of me after my fire accident. Big time quality time act of love. She brought me to my first concert back which was the Luck Reunion. After Kermit the Frog took the stage with Willie Nelson my mom kept talking about how incredible that was and how it was like I was supposed to be there

Since then I’ve been considering the bide my time and take it slow vs rush and never waste a day axis. In a lot of ways it’s neither and both, isn’t it? You can’t force the will of God or the universe but you can listen and pay attention and say yes to inspiring situations with people who really love you

Since Mom & I saw Kermie together I’ve said yes to two more houseguests and to being a guest myself. Two days ago I had lunch with one of my dance friends in New Orleans who asked how it’s possible that I’ve done so much so fast. Kind of funny bc I feel like I’ve been forced to slow down a lot but love is all I’ve got as an answer to that question. Say yes to people who want to include you and take care of you. I am healing because I am loved 🙏

This fall has been a serious exercise in keep what’s important & know who’s your friend. Like most of my other creative friends on here I’ve been pretty busy with fiery pursuits but haven’t been sharing so much lately since the call has been to cocoon with the people who love me best. Outside of fire art I’ve been sewing sequins on things, trying not to stick my hands together with e6000, petting my dog and swimming with the phishes & in the local swimming holes before the cold front comes through. Just fire mermaid things

I’m down to just one social media (this one) bc I’m an artist not an influencer that’s a whole other deal & mad respect to people who are bc “producing content” is a job unto itself. Fire art and dance happen in the moment & I don’t always get to capture it but I try to remember to share the cool stuff when it’s shared with me since the majority of you here are people who know me moderately to extremely well. I love you!
