Faith plus anything won’t save.

Faith plus baptism. Faith plus turning from every sin. Faith plus enduring to the end.

Every plus turns a gift into a wage, and Romans 4 says a wage isn’t grace. “To him that worketh not, but believeth” is the only way anyone has ever been saved.

What’s the “plus” you were taught? Drop it in the comments.

P.S. Looking for ambassadors to wear and share the Saved Sealed Secure tee. Comment “SECURE” and I’ll DM you.

Saved. Not sinless.

If you think a real Christian stops sinning, read 1 John 1:8 again. John wrote it to believers, and he included himself. Salvation was never a promise that you’d stop falling. It’s a promise that the fall can’t undo what Christ finished.

Forgiven people still need grace every day.

DEPART FROM ME YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY WAS NOT MEANT FOR YOU THE BELIEVER
Jesus said:

“Depart from me, you workers of iniquity; I never knew you.” — Matthew 7:23

But who was Jesus talking to?

In this teaching, we look at the context of Matthew 7 and Jesus’ warning to beware of false prophets.

The people Jesus addressed were presenting their own works:

“Have we not prophesied?”
“Have we not cast out devils?”
“Have we not done many wonderful works?”

Their confidence was in what they had done, not in what Christ had done.

The Gospel calls us away from trusting our performance and into faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is received by grace through faith, not by human effort.

Watch this teaching and discover why one of the scariest passages in Scripture points us back to the finished work of Christ.

Everyday Gospel — Teaching and establishing you in all that Jesus has done.

What does “once saved, always saved” actually mean?

It means the moment you believe on Jesus Christ, you receive eternal life.

You are born of God, justified, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and have passed from death unto life.

Your salvation is secured by Christ, not maintained by your performance.

“and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If eternal life could eventually end, Jesus never could have called it eternal.

Save this for the next time you find yourself questioning whether Jesus really meant what He promised.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 🤍

There’s such a beautiful progression here.

First, COME.
We come to Jesus by faith, receiving salvation as God’s gracious gift ~ resting in what HE has done for us.

Then, LEARN.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me…” Matthew 11:29
Having come to Him, we walk with Him ~ learning, surrendering, obeying and growing in His grace.

The order matters …
first COME, then LEARN.

We don’t work FOR salvation.
We walk FROM what Jesus has already accomplished for us. 🤍

You can avoid this post, but you can’t avoid these realities.

The question isn’t whether you’re good enough.

It’s whether you’ve believed on the One who is.

Jesus Christ is your only hope.

Belive The Lord Jesus Christ and confess you sins to Him. He will forgive you. You will have everlasting life in heaven!

Share the gospel anyway.

Even when it feels like nobody is listening.

Even when the views are low.

Even when you wonder if what you’re doing actually matters.

You have no idea who is on the other side of that screen.

One person may hear the gospel through you and finally understand the grace of God. One person may find assurance in Christ. One person may be encouraged to open their Bible again. And one person you encourage may turn around and share Christ with someone else.

You may never see how far one act of faithfulness travels.

So don’t measure the value of what God has put on your heart by likes, views, comments, or followers.

Plant the seed. Share Christ. Let God handle where it goes.

Someone is listening.

And they may be the next person God uses to tell someone else about Jesus.
