Here is a moment from first connect and color featuring amazing artist @lyiness where she she talks about limiations . Thank you tree for sharing
Missed the first Connect & Color Artist Talk? Don’t worry — we’re doing it again. 🎨

The last one was powerful — a space to slow down, release your mind through coloring, and have honest conversations without the pressure of a big stage.

No performances.
No spotlight.
Just real creatives connecting, talking, and creating together.

Join us May 23rd at The Bookstore Gallery for the next Connect & Color Artist Talk, featuring artist Bolanle @prettypaperblossoms on Instagram.

✨ Come color
✨ Come talk
✨ Come be in community

Everyone is welcome. No experience needed — just bring yourself.

What’s your relationship with social media as an artist? Get a sneak peek into our conversation at Connect and Color artist talk! We were in a creative flow that was truly amazing, and I’m counting down the days until the next one on May 23.

Meet @melaneenecole, an Atlanta-based artist whose work is nothing short of magical. Her storytelling through brushstrokes and blend of colors and imagery is breathtaking. Her pieces in this exhibition, especially the ones featuring women and flowers, are a must-see. I love hearing her speak, and she shared some incredible gems at Connect and Color.

Still on a high from the EmpowerHER Tea party. More than just art, it’s about the sisterhood. Gratefully to be around wonderful people, good food, and amazing energy. Thank you @artyoubetter and the @fcac.empowerher team for thinking of it all. Something is growing.

Yesterday's EmpowerHer Tea was truly beautiful.
There was something so special about seeing women of all ages come together — dressed up, present, and fully immersed in the moment. The energy felt light, whimsical, and deeply nourishing.
Moments like this remind me that sisterhood isn’t just about shared space, but shared experience — joy, creativity, and connection.
Grateful to continue this journey with the Empower Her 2026 community.
