📍 Kaaistudios

The second edition of @encore.brussels at @kaaitheater came to an end this weekend. Over two days, ENCORE brought together performances, workshops, readings, photography, publications and a café at the heart of the Kaaistudios Garage. The spaces filled up, the workshops were fully booked, conversations continued between the different parts of the programme, and for one weekend the Garage became a genuine space for meeting and spending time together. Thank you to the artists who shaped this edition: @noanger___ , @antonella_cnd , @practicesoftrying , @robertandycoombs_ , @crashroom.ooo / @etienne_037 , @hbistuer & @marron_desire . Thank you for accepting the invitation and for bringing your practices, ideas, voices and ways of being together. Thank you to Kaai and the entire theatre team for the trust, welcome and support. Thank you as well to everyone who helped make this event possible: at the bar, during the set-up, scenography, installation, welcoming and technical work, and through all the often invisible work that allows an event to exist. And above all, thank you to everyone who came and brought these spaces to life over the two days. These two days were generous, vibrant and deeply beautiful. This second edition ends here. ENCORE continues. Curated by: @moss_chngl Scenography: @zero_graphie Photo: @laetitiabica

------------------------- Emma Holten is coming to Ecopolis! At Ecopolis 2026, we’ll be welcoming Danish author and activist Emma Holten. She wrote the bestseller "Deficit": How Feminist Economy Can Change Our World". In the book, she shows how economic thinkers have excluded care and unpaid labor from the framework of value for centuries. The consequences of that blind spot are still felt today in political and economic decisions. Holten draws a line from the undervaluation of care to the exploitation of people and the planet. She advocates for an economy that looks not only at what generates profit, but also at what truly contributes to our well-being and our society. At Ecopolis, Emma Holten will discuss an economy centered on both human and ecological well-being. 📅 5 december 2026 📍 De Markten, Brussel 🎟 Tickets via link in bio
