POV: You’re a 9 year old with big soccer dreams and realize your coach doesn’t need a new game plan… he needs a SNICKERS. 🍫⚽🤣

@snickers , these girls just solved youth soccer’s biggest problem. Sponsorship pending? 👀💰 @sting.u10.blencoe.pre.ecnl @stingsoccer @blencs23 @trinity_rodman @mrapinoe @alexmorgan13 @sophiawilson @abbywambach @carolineswann52 @rileymattingly23 @carlilloyd

After a full summer of family, friends, soccer camps, practices, futsal games and trips, there was no better way to end it than with the crew I started this entire Academy ⚽️ journey with just over 3 years ago 🥰

We may all play for 6 different teams now, we may wear 6 different jerseys.. but these are my same girls, my same families, my same forever friendships 💙✨

Good luck to my girls this season!!! @a_joy2017 @camilarodz_2017 @penny.s_2017 Can’t wait to see you on the field ☺️🥅

remember senior superlatives?
Highland Village edition ✨

Most likely to:
• accidentally spend $200 at HomeGoods
• know the best patio spots before everyone else
• say “just one episode” and end up deep into Bravo at midnight
• cancel plans because of kids sports
• grab a Friday patio drink at Blue Goose 🍹

Honestly… Highland Village might just be one giant small town yearbook and I kind of love that for us. 😂

Now I need to know — what would YOUR Highland Village superlative be? 👀
Drop yours in the comments ⬇️

Tonight’s game was close until @dakingseaniii stepped up and left the other team with a moment that’ll live rent free in their heads for a hot minute 😮‍💨

So proud of us, we’re holding it down 4-0

@maribel0883 always catching the best moments 😘

2017–2018s: building the foundations of 1v1 defending.

We’re coaching the details that actually transfer into games: body shape while jockeying, side-on stance, low centre of gravity, patient feet, showing one way, and recognizing the right tackle for the moment, poke tackle when the touch gets away, block tackle in the duel, and recovery tackle when chasing back.

At this age, the reps matter. Good defending starts with feet before tackles, patience before diving in, and body shape that controls the attacker’s next action. Elite habits built early.
