To be honest, I thought this would be my last year serving in Youth. I didn’t think it was where I was supposed to be. I didn’t feel fully immersed in what God was doing, and I had already decided that when school started, I was done.

But I decided to come to camp anyway.

From the moment I got there, I had this quiet feeling that the Lord was going to let me witness something beautiful.

During camp, one of the youth students prayed over me and shared that there was a gift the Lord had given me that had become dusty on the shelf because I had let it sit for too long. They reminded me that God hadn’t forgotten the gift He placed in me. In that moment, something shifted.

From then on, I began to walk with a boldness I hadn’t known before. I found myself praying over students, prophesying, and receiving words of knowledge unlike anything I had experienced before. Time and time again, I watched the Lord meet people through simple Scriptures and one sentence prayers He placed on my heart. It was never about my eloquent words. It was about obedience to when he wanted me to move.

Then I began to see the fruit flourish.

I watched students who had never truly encountered the love of God become soft and surrendered in His presence. Walls came down. Hearts opened. Lives were changed. And I wept.

I came to camp believing my season in Youth was over. I left reminded that God’s calling isn’t sustained by my feelings, but by my obedience.

Thank You, Father, for reminding me that You never forgot the gift You placed in me.

Thank you to my pastors @kramerr @lexisweeney_ @aaronfarmerrr and thank you to everyone @youth_co. I love you all forever.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Youth Camp 2026. My last youth camp. And somehow, it was everything I could have hoped for and so much more.

Over the past few years, God has used youth camp to change me, shape me, challenge me, and draw me closer to Him in ways I never could have imagined. I’ve watched Him move in my own life, but I’ve also had the incredible privilege of watching Him move in the lives of so many of my friends. And this year was no different. If anything, it felt like God was doing something even deeper. I saw God move in miraculous ways. I saw hearts softened, chains broken, people encounter the presence of Jesus, and lives changed forever. I watched students worship with everything they had, pray boldly, choose Jesus, and step into the freedom and identity He has for them. One of the greatest joys of my life is championing my friends. I love watching the people I love step into who God has called them to be. I love celebrating their victories, encouraging them when things get hard, cheering them on when they take big steps of faith, and reminding them of who they are when they forget. Getting to do that at youth camp getting to worship alongside my friends, serve alongside them, pray with them, laugh with them, and watch them encounter Jesus is something I will never take for granted.

To my youth pastors and leaders, thank you doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you for pouring into me, believing in me, giving me opportunities to serve, trusting me, correcting me, encouraging me, and showing me what it looks like to follow Jesus faithfully. Thank you for the countless hours, prayers, sacrifices, conversations, and behind-the-scenes moments that most people will never see. You have played such a massive role in shaping who I am, and I am forever grateful.

It’s crazy to think that this was my last youth camp as a student. A part of me wishes I could go back and do it all over again. But I also know that God is just getting started.

Youth camp may be over, but what God started in us doesn’t have to stay at camp.

The fire doesn’t have to fade.
Here’s to carrying the fire home.

HERE IT IS!! Year 3 at camp with @youth_co!!! First of all, proud of each of the dudes from Cabin 321. Staying up till’ 3AM every night is the best mistake I make every year with you guys! Next, if the point of camp is to take time out of our regularly scheduled programming to get away with Jesus….well, that happened. Every service, devotional, message, prayer, and cabin time were pointed and didn’t waste words. Finally. To say THANK YOU! To the Youth staff and youth leaders. You operated like camp started a month ago and have been clearing the way to make this week unforgettable ever since. I love working with students. I love this generation. Youth Co. we are just getting started, you have my heart!

Summer is the quiet space between endings and beginnings. It reminds us that even as we live the present, it is already becoming a memory. Every passing moment makes room for another, carrying the promise that the memories still to come may be even more beautiful than the ones we hold today.
