To cheer at the collegiate level is a blessing and to have grown enough as a team to compete at the national level is something 10 yr old me could have never imagined. All of the work, injuries, and tears were worth it. I love you forever @washucheer and to my fearless badass teammates, i love you. #tornrotatorcuff #fgli

🐻CAPTAIN ANNOUNCEMENT🐻

Introducing our 2026-2027 Captains!

Maddie Sapra - Maddie served as our 2025-2026 Junior Captain. She helped lead our team to our first ever NCA Nationals. She also competed at the College Classic in 2025. Maddie is a talented main base! You can always count on Maddie to have a positive attitude, encourage her teammates and push the team to be its best!

Elisabeth Sandoval - Elisabeth joined WashU Cheer during the 2025-2026 season. She can do it all! As a UCA instructor, Elisabeth has been a flyer, main base side, base, back spot and tumbler. Her wealth of knowledge and ability to coach and teach her teammates has been invaluable to our team!

Kailey Pendergrass - Kailey has been selected to be our newest junior captain and will serve as captain through her senior year. Kailey is a main base and competed on the mat at NCA Nationals. She is a friend to all, a great communicator and positive light on our team! We can’t wait to see where Kailey will lead our program!
