Happy Me Made May! These pants are hot off the sewing machine- I finished them last night. They’re the Versa pant by @puff_and_pencil. I have a YouTube video about them coming tomorrow but I’m so so happy with them. I’m 5’3” so finding pants and jeans is tough. One of my goals this year was to find a solid pant pattern so I can make myself a couple pairs and I’ve found it! These are the only pants I’ve made that I like and May is looking chilly for my me-made dresses so let’s hope for some sunshine. If you see me out there freezing in my dresses I’m doing it for Me Made May!

My top is the Chloe pattern by @silversagapatterns and I also have a YT video on them.

This dress feels like a sheet in the best way 😀 This experiment to only wear dresses this month, during some cold May weather btw, has shown me which dresses I really enjoy wearing all day. This is one of them. Add a cozy cardigan and we are conquering these 12°c days 👌

Wearing florals will encourage the sun to reappear right? This is what I wore last Friday when we had some warm weather. On a positive note I can’t wait to see all the plants and flowers bloom after all of this rain.

A day late but this is what I wore on Mother’s Day! I love the Quinn dress from @shopdoen - it’s such an easy and flattering style AND one of the few dresses I haven’t had to alter.

On these colder days I just want to throw on jeans and a sweater BUT I’m glad I challenged myself to wear dresses bc I’m finding new ways to wear them. I’ve tried layering dresses enough times to look for dropped shoulders and bigger armholes in sweaters and jackets to accommodate all the fabric. This sweater and jacket work perfectly over dresses.

Trying this newfangled way to share outfits.
