#CharlesCalomiris and friends at @eastsidesoundstudio reimagining #beatles repertoire with some unexpected instruments like Oud, Bouzouki, and Guembri. Performing together all in one room, embracing bleed, and improvisation. #norwegianwood

What a pleasure to record these amazing Beatles tunes with an unusual band:
oud, trichord bouzouki, strings, clarinet, bass, guitar, and percussion.
Amazing! More to come.

@nmopgram is such a special place. made so many new friends and received so much inspiration from everyone! we had the best food ever (thanks @kaiyotee @ali__sadeqi_ @santiagutierrez and the staff) and saw sooo much music. it was a blast being on faculty and giving seminars on my music, Just Intonation, composing for the guitar, and chamber ensembles. impossible to tag everyone, but thank you @acwcomposer and Jenny for making this possible!!

PC for first pic is Dan Mohr!

There are never quite words to describe @nmopgram but I’m so thankful for an amazing 2.5 weeks in Vermont at one of my very favorite places in the world. Here are some pics of great people and inspiring music and some wonderfully silly times. Now, I’ve arrived in Knoxville for @niefnorf and am looking forward to continuing the summer @bergamotquartet adventures here with more lovely people!
