Today was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a community comes together with purpose. The energy, the love, and the collective commitment to making a difference made our Teal in Motion event truly special! 🦋🩵🦋

As the Central Regional Manager for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, I am reminded every day that awareness saves lives, education empowers people, and community can move mountains. You don’t have to have a personal connection to ovarian cancer to care. You simply have to care about people, humanity, and making a difference.

Together, we can amplify awareness, support survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and help change the future of ovarian cancer.

When community moves with purpose, the impact reaches far beyond the finish line. 🩵

Saturday Mornings have been busy for the S&S crew lately. We started our monthly run off with a 5k run or 2 mile walk option the weather was beautiful, the vibes were great and our girlies did amazing! 🩷🧡💅🏽 📸 @kiskandidshots

On day 356 of my running journey, I successfully completed my 1st half marathon 🥹🫶🏾

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would be running a half marathon, I would have laughed at you.

I’m so proud of my progress and I truly could not have picked a better race to be my 1st half marathon. @runirving became apart of my run family at the beginning of my run journey and this being my 1st race as an ambassador just gave me more run family members and had me feeling right at home.

Speaking of run family, I’m grateful for my run family and the way they showed up for me the ENTIRE way. 🥹 From seeing me at the starting line, running part of their long run with me so I could get settled, having gels and waffles waiting for me at the halfway mark and throughout the course, standing in the rain, running and cheering me through the finish line, sending text messages, phone calls, DMs, @runwithrally voice notes, encouragement, and so much more… I️ even got to see @bdavie_1470 complete the cinderblock challenge.

I never felt like I was doing those 13.1 miles alone. 🫶🏾

This experience was everything I needed and more and I’m eternally grateful to everyone who did something to make this day special and memorable.

To the woman that started this run, fitness, & healing journey, WE DID IT! 🥹🥇 13.1!

We’re officially in Half & Full Marathon training season! And of course the S&S girls must do everything in style so everything was pink! Some of our girls ran 4-12 miles today for our long run. Then we had a second start time at 7am for our monthly community run for the rest of our girls to get in a cute 3 miles in! Thank you for everyone to showed up for their self. We’re blessed to have everyone return safe and accomplished no one lost & no woman left behind, ever. 😘 Thank you for supporting the girls we are 12 weeks out for BMW Marathon Weekend! So, @mambomiles was my 15th 5K and it owes me absolutely NOTHING! From PR no ER, to community, to witnessing the 1st of many 5Ks for some, birthday celebrations, the vibes were everything and spending time and seeing everyone just having a good time was everything I️ needed and more.

THIS is why I️ love my running family… ! THIS is community!
