❤️ THIS is what community looks like! ❤️

We had an absolutely amazing time yesterday as guests and guest speakers at Disability Comic Con at Bad Astronaut Brewing in Houston, Texas!

The connections, heartfelt conversations, support, inclusivity, and LOVE were felt all day. What a beautiful experience for our Heroes N More family! 🦸‍♀️💛

A huge shout-out to Coffee for inviting us! We cannot wait to work together again and return for another incredible event.

To all the vendors, artists, voice actors, internet celebrities, and beautiful souls we met—thank you for welcoming us, supporting our mission, and sharing so much love.

Our hearts are full. Thank you, Houston! 💛

Saturday of San Japan featured two hot dudes! Jogo and Calcifer. Jogo was such a journey and Calcifer is a tough one to carry around all the time, but people get so happy, which makes me happy that I just can’t stop.

Started the day as Jogo at the jjk meetup once again hosted by @feb21kate :) Jogo was so well received and even though I probably scarred my lungs breathing in the fog machine smoke, it was worth it! Had fun meeting with mutuals and new friends! Special thanks to @katkashi_cosplays for the huge amount of help she did for making him. Love you baby!

Calcifer of course was very popular. When we were making him I just thought it was a clever way to cosplay him, but I never imagined he’d get the reception he has. Katlyn said we would have won the hall contest if we entered him, and maybe she’s right, but honestly I don’t really care about contests. I feel like a winner every time I get asked for a pic! That’s my contest :)

Probably gonna put Calcifer on a hiatus for a while. He’s been busy. But Jogo may make another appearance soon! Thanks again @sanjapanofficial! We look forward to this weekend every year!

SAN JAPAN 17 ● FLAVOR QUEST - VOL.1

Alot of some really good cosplays that were spotted by yours truly during the weekend of San Japan. There was quite alot going on that I had to capture as much as I could. A couple of them were my own that were new to the lineups and hopefully will return for future cons. I am truly impressed with alot of you cosplayers (friends and attendees of all kinds) 🎖🎖🎖

This con truly brings out creative ideas and familiar characters onto the scene. If there is one thing I love about San Japan after all these years is seeing what kinds of costumes are put together and brought to life.

Stay tuned for Vol.2!
