Homecoming always feels a little different when the place you’re celebrating helped shape who you became. 💙💛 Proud two-time alum of Southern University and forever grateful for the education, experiences, and opportunities that helped pave the way for my legal career. Southern is more than my alma mater—it’s part of my story, and I’ll always be proud to be a Jaguar. Happy Homecoming, Southern! 💙💛🐆 #SouthernUniversity #SouthernHomecoming #JaguarPride #ÉlanLaw

ÉLAN LAW IS GROWING. Rooted in North Louisiana. Growing in South Louisiana. Monroe will always be part of our foundation. It’s where relationships were built, trust was earned, and a desire to serve our community grew into a law practice. Now, we’re entering a new chapter. As Guice Law becomes Élan Law, we’re expanding our presence across Louisiana—continuing to proudly serve North Louisiana while growing in Greater Baton Rouge, Ascension Parish, and surrounding communities. New name. Growing footprint. Same commitment. Thoughtful strategy. Personal counsel. Legal guidance for the businesses you’re building, the families you’re protecting, and the legacies you’re creating. North Louisiana is part of our foundation. South Louisiana is part of our future. And we’re just getting started. Ready to work with Élan? 🌐 elancounsel.com 📞 318-582-5362 ✉️ hello@elancounsel.com Because the work is legal. But what’s at stake is personal.

Why Élan? Choosing the name for this next chapter of my practice was deeply intentional. I wanted a name that reflected how I approach my work: with energy, confidence, purpose, and a commitment to doing things well. But I also wanted the name to mean something beyond the practice itself. Élan carries my children with me. EL for Elliot. AN for Kyrie Evan. As a mother and a first-generation lawyer, legacy has become increasingly important to me. I think often about what I am building, what I am teaching through the way I build it, and what will remain long after me. That same perspective shapes the way I serve my clients. Whether we are protecting a business, planning for a family, preserving property, or navigating a difficult legal matter, there is always something bigger behind the paperwork. Élan represents people, purpose, and possibilities. It is more than a new name. It is a reflection of what matters to me and the kind of practice I intend to continue building. Because the work is legal. But what’s at stake is personal. Welcome to Élan Law.

“Boutique” is more than an aesthetic. For us, it means being intentional about the matters we accept and the relationships we build. It means understanding your goals before recommending a strategy. It means clear communication, thoughtful counsel, and representation tailored to what is actually at stake. We value quality over volume and relationships over transactions. Because our goal is not simply to handle one matter. It is to become a trusted legal resource as your business grows, your family changes, your assets evolve, and new chapters begin. That is the Élan approach.

There is the launch you see. And then there are the decisions, late nights, client conversations, lessons, revisions, risks, and years of work behind it. Élan Law may be a new name, but the work behind it has been years in the making. Built intentionally. Built to serve. Built for what comes next.

Thank you. Truly. 🤎 So many people have cheered me on throughout this journey, and I don’t take any of it for granted. I am incredibly blessed by the continued support I’ve received from my city, my colleagues, my family and friends, and, of course, the clients who have trusted me to serve them over the years. Every call, message, share, referral, congratulation, and word of encouragement has meant more than you know. The launch of Élan Law marks the beginning of a new era, and it is one I am so proud to share with all of you. At the heart of it all, I still feel incredibly blessed to simply be of service. To do work that matters. To help people through important moments in their lives. To protect what they’ve built, help preserve what they love, and hopefully leave things a little better than I found them. There is so much more to come, and I’m grateful to have you all along for this next chapter. And whenever you need us, Élan Law is only a call away. 🤎 📞 318-582-5362 🌐 ElanCounsel.com With love and gratitude, Kandice People. Purpose. Possibilities.

Meet the woman behind Élan. I’m Kandice, founder and managing attorney of Élan Law. My path to private practice did not begin with a grand business plan. During the pandemic, I started hosting Facebook Lives to provide free legal information to people in my community who were starting businesses and needed a little guidance. Those conversations became clients. Those clients became relationships. And those relationships eventually became a law practice. Today, that practice has evolved into Élan Law. Élan represents how I believe law should be practiced: with intention, clarity, excellence, and an understanding that what we help our clients build and protect often extends far beyond a single legal matter. This is the next chapter, and I’m excited to share more of the story behind it.

Today, I’m proud to introduce Élan Law. Built from years of experience representing individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and businesses, Élan Law reflects the next evolution of my practice…more intentional, more refined, and designed around the way modern clients actually need their attorney to work. Our work centers on the legal matters that shape what you’re building and what you’re leaving behind: • Business & corporate counsel • Contracts & transactions • Estate planning & successions • Real estate matters • Personal Injury The name is new. The standard isn’t. Welcome to Élan Law. More to come ✨.
