Falling in love with this man all over again

Yup, you can get married by Elvis without ever stepping foot in Vegas.

On October 25, we’re bringing the King to Niagara Falls for the most unexpected little wedding day at The Tower Hotel.

Think intimate ceremony.
Your favourite people.
Incredible views of the Falls.
And a LIVE, singing Elvis marrying you.

Is it romantic? Absolutely.
Is it a little ridiculous? Maybe.
Is it going to be one of those weddings nobody forgets? 100%.

And because the whole point of a micro wedding is to actually enjoy your wedding day, we’ve taken care of the details for you, from the styling and florals to the music, photography and all those little touches that make the day feel special.

You just show up, get married, soak in the view, and have one hell of a story to tell.

If a traditional wedding has never really felt like you, maybe this is your sign to do something a little more fun.

October 25 | The Tower Hotel | Niagara Falls

Now booking. DM us to snag your spot before Elvis leaves the building.

We’re starting a new tradition. 🤍

Once a month, the kids get to plan the entire day.
The only rule? Within reason, the answer is yes.

This month’s agenda included a beach day, homemade meals, karate, movie time, game night... and approximately 37 hours of activities squeezed into one day. 😂

One lesson? Always check the weather before planning a beach day. 🌧️

Except... we went anyway.

It started storming, but instead of calling it a day, we embraced it. The waves were bigger, the beach was empty, and somehow it turned into one of the best parts of the day. A good reminder that sometimes Plan B ends up being the memory you talk about the most.

The biggest takeaway, though, was realizing how much life happens between the fun.
Cooking from scratch. Packing. Cleaning up. Driving. Managing time. Suddenly, “Can we just...?” came with a whole new perspective.

We didn’t check off every item on the list, and that was part of the lesson too. The goal wasn’t perfection—it was ownership.

I want my kids to grow up knowing their ideas matter, their voices deserve to be heard, and that freedom comes with responsibility. The best lessons aren’t taught—they’re experienced.

I have a feeling this is going to become one of our favourite family traditions. 🤍

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

This one feels especially emotional.

I’ve been pregnant 9 times… but only 3 of my babies are here with me today. Right before Departure, I lost my son. Around that same time, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer on top of her ongoing Parkinson’s diagnosis.

2026 has been heavy in ways I can’t fully put into words. But somehow, within all of that grief, fear, and uncertainty… I discovered a level of strength and resilience I never knew I had; it continues to grow.

Life can make us bitter very quickly if we let it. It can pull us into darkness, anger, and questioning “why me?” But I’ve learned that perspective is everything. Even in the hardest seasons, there is still beauty all around us — in connection, in laughter, in music, in hugs, in the people we love, and in simply being here.

So I choose the light.
And I will continue choosing it, over and over again. ✨

This year, I recorded a song for my mom. A piece of my heart that I cannot wait to share with all of you soon.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
Be present. Love deeply. Say the things you feel. Take the photo. Make the memory. Forgive. Try again.

Because life can change in an instant.

You get one life. Truly live it.

I swear…my couples who say they’re the most awkward?

They always end up with the BEST photos.

Because they’re not trying to “pose” perfectly. They’re just in it, being themselves, listening, and staying present.

Honestly, it’s usually the people who try to pose that end up looking the most stiff and uncomfortable on camera.

And I promise I’m not going to put you into anything awkward and tell you to “just smile” 😅
That’s honestly the worst.

I’ll guide you the whole time with little prompts and movement so it never feels forced.

We’ll walk, chat, laugh, get to know each other and half the time you won’t even realize I’m taking the photo.

That’s where the magic actually happens. 🪄

After 20 years of doing this, I’ve learned that the best photos aren’t the perfectly posed ones, they’re the in-between moments.

When you’re not overthinking it. When you’re just you.

So if you think you’re awkward, you’re actually my type. 👋🏻

And I’ve got you the whole way through 🤍

If you want photos that feel natural and not awkward, we should probably chat.

Be honest, on a scale of 1–10, how awkward are you in front of the camera? 👀
