Modern life offers more convenience than ever. Yet many of us feel more disconnected, overwhelmed, and isolated than ever before.

That’s because our minds and bodies were designed for things that can’t be found through a screen:

Movement.
Connection.
Play.
Nature.
Community.
Music.

For thousands of years, humans gathered, danced, celebrated, and shared experiences together.

Our biology hasn’t changed.

Our environment has.

🧠 Connection helps regulate the nervous system and supports emotional well-being.

💃 Movement helps release stress, process emotions, and bring us back into the present moment.

🌊 Nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and help the body return to balance.

🎵 Music activates reward centers in the brain, increases dopamine, and strengthens social connection.

🤝 Community allows us to co-regulate, reminding our nervous systems that we’re safe, supported, and not alone.

What it comes down to is what we’re really craving isn’t more stimulation… it’s more connection.

Women are medicine for the soul. I experience this every time I hold a sacred circle. It's why I do what I do.

This is a late post from my 50th birthday where some of my soul tribe gathered to celebrate this monumental year and create together.

After this event, I decided to make the Creative Coven. A group of women who are gathering together in ceremony and creative ritual to mark the Wheel of the Year and attune to nature's rhythms as women have always done.

🥀Join us at wildheartpilgrimage.com/creative-coven

This year, celebrating #internationalwomansday seems more important than ever. I honor the women in my life who have shared their stories and listened to mine. Mentored me, held me as I cried, and let me do the same for them. Friends and family, old and new. You make my life so rich, and I am forever grateful.

I tagged many of you in the reel, but for those not present at my party, I send you my love today. @heidiannjoy

🥀Creative Coven was birthed at my 50th birthday party! I decided to bring together a circle of women who weave wonder into everyday living thru art and creative ritual.

🥀We meet online or in-person to celebrate the Wheel of the Year by partaking in ceremonies that awaken your imagination and attune you to your own sacral cycles and rhythms.

🥀If you follow astrology or live anywhere besides under a rock, you know 2025 is going to be a challenging year. Art and ceremony have been anchors that got me thru many of life's storms, so this seemed like the perfect year to gather women together to be the medicine and the magic that will keep us afloat.

🥀Each meet-up will include juicy Goddess Underworld Mythology from around the globe, sensual and creative activities, ritual ideas, and tips on creating sacred space and altars.

🥀2025 adds up to 9 in numerology, so 9 will be the anchor of the group. 9 is also associated with the snake, which we will be ushering in this year, according to the Chinese Zodiac.

🥀We will be working with 9 Underworld Goddesses over the course of the year. The Underworld is also associated with the number 9 representing the end of one phase and the beginning of another as well as transformation, rebirth, and the cyclical nature of life and death. 9 is the perfect number to lead us into the Aquarian Age.

🥀Our first meeting is honoring, IMBOLC
FEBRUARY 6TH, 7-8:30pm PST via Zoom
Energy Exchange: $33.Venmo @wildhearpilgrimage

🥀We will be working with the Celtic Goddess, Brigid, the Celtic Spiral, and the energy of the Year of the Snake

Peace out O.C. ✌️
We trained, we trolly-ed, we swam in the surf, we drank green juice, played cards and hung out with our forever besties. You would think we lived in California or something. 🤩🚊 🌱 🌊

I took so many pictures because I was trying to slow down time and remember it all.

This was a big one.

My first son, my middle kid, my brave heart, turned 13 yesterday. This means we have two teens in the house.

Can I be honest? I like my teens. Sometimes it’s f*cking rough, but man do I love their quick confidence and this dark place they go, to channel their very own lightening in a bottle.

And this kid. The one that brings me found heart-shaped rocks, and says yes when I ask him to read poetry. This kid who helps me make bread, and hugs me often just to rub in that he’s now taller.

He just wanted the things he loves the most: a weekend at home with his bestie who lives far away, and with whom he always celebrates a shared birthday.

So there was bowling and sushi, hoops on the driveway, too many video games, and charcuterie for dinner.

So I took the photos, and breathed in the memories. And all the while, I felt the scale tipping, and left hanging low on the side of years.

Low on the years. Big on the love. I just hope he remembers who loved him first.

This is an outtake image from the DIY Sirona Cleanse we filmed. Note my hair would be tied up when actually hosting a Sirona Cleanse. They say the 3rd time is the charm. Our first go was filmed with an iPhone, the second was with a ring light and iphone and the final one with a professional camera. I learned allot in the first two rounds. But the best thing to come out of those first runs were the bloopers reels. Stay tuned.

Thank you, my dear friends, for being a source of joy and vitality. Life is simply better with friends.

Some of you, I haven't spoken to in awhile, let's change that.

Some of you are new rays of sunshine. I'm grateful for you all.
