🥰 Just tidied up my sweet little studio after shooting pics of new Etsy items for the past few days. I don’t know about you, but I need my surroundings to be orderly so that I can think. Here’s a quick tour… Enjoy❣️

This beautiful hand-screened textile was bequeathed to me by good friends from my Artsy Girls days.

Our beloved Terry Capuana, seated near the center in all black, passed away late last year. She has created the craft department at Womans Day magazine giving exposure to hundreds of amazing artisans over the years.

@ellen_highsmith and @museumaccess Leslie Mueller have been sorting through Terry’s belongings and wisely selected me to appreciate this early piece of Terry’s talent.

Terry was instrumental and encouraging the birth of Artsy Girls in the early 2000’s. She was an ardent supporter and idea-generator. I will miss her enormously.

I added a few new pieces I bought today while yard sailing. Lucky I found them, the tart tins and the transferware, as I didn’t have either for the #virtualvintagehunt. I also added the Royal Copley vase found today as I think it goes nicely with the printed tablecloth. The wire egg basket is not old, but this was all I had available. No butter mold, but had some old butter boxes and I think they go well in the yellow Pyrex bowl. This bowl was a wedding gift from my first marriage in 1966. Had the whole rainbow set and this is the only one left. Thank you again hostesses for creating this fun exercise for all of us collectors! #myrustichouse #thevettelfarm #weatheredwaresandco #champagne_and_chalk #astonparkhome #havenberryvintage #vintagesoulshoppe #farmhousemerchantile

This #virtualvintagehunt has been the most difficult for me so far. No wooden bowl, so I used a cute little wood wheelbarrow with a vintage decal of a child pushing a wheelbarrow. The closest thing I had to transferware is my grandmother’s flow blue gravy boat. No ice cream bucket so a picture from a Jell-O recipe leaflet of an ice cream carton. No scoop either, so a metal measuring scoop....hidden in the wheelbarrow in the first picture. No window, so a picture of a window on the cover of a Ceresota Flour recipe book. Aladdin Lamp is a stand-in for the lighting piece. And not sure about the shoe pincushion, but looks a little like pewter. Table linen is a lovely tinted embroidery cloth and napkins set with baskets. I just love this! Hat brush hanging from a hat stand. Butterfly hinges for the hardware. And, I’ve saved the best for last...the cutest little Corona Typewriter one could ever have! Swipe for close-ups.

Not as good as yesterday, but did find some great BSA stuff. Even got their Pinewood Derby cars! Letters from WWI and WWII. Also was lucky enough to find another watering can. Can’t have too many of them! Scroll.
