Okay y’all — I’m not one to EVER put my life out there like this but I have got to say, I am damn proud. 👏🏼
A friend took the top left picture and showed it to me - I about fell over. I couldn’t believe how BIG I had actually gotten... I couldn’t see it myself and of course no one told me. I’ve tried 100 things.. diets, exercise, etc.. Failed, all of it.
Everything in my life was surrounded by food (still is but limited and healthier now) and no matter what it was, I turned to food... or I’d stop eating all together which we all know is terrible too.
My food craving and mental health always won.. but I’ve taken control of my own life and well-being. I decided that I would try ONE more thing before I reached out to doctors and discussed surgeries... my partner needed someone more active and less depressed and my son needed someone more playful, more attentive and less stressed and tired.
Along came Karim — my coach. I decided that I would give this last thing a shot and prayed it was my answer and damn if it wasn’t. I have him to thank for guiding me to my incredible results this far. I work my ass off during workouts and cautiously think about what I’m putting in my mouth. I have a waaayyyyyss to go but I’m finally seeing some light at the end of my tunnel. I’m seeing results and feeling 100x better already. I can do more physically and my clothes are either fitting perfectly or getting too big! 🙈🤗
Have I fallen off a bit? Yep. Did I realize what I was doing was damaging my results? Yep. Was I letting my mental health win again? Yep. Did I push through and pull myself out of the slump? Yep. Did I jump back on and continue to kill it? Yep.
And here I am, feeling better than ever! 💪🏼
Thank God for the awesome people I have in my corner and encouraging me to keep going.
An extra special thank you to my babe who has been there during every “breakdown” and struggle. Who’s held me when the workout gets too much and feeds me the craving foods when I’m allowed.🥰
I thank God for showing me the up-side of my down and pulling me through.
Also, I thank my Coach for not giving up on me and continuously pushing me further.
I look forward to the future! 💪🏼😘

to push yourself to do things beyond your limitats is when you learn that the only limitations you have, are the ones you put on yourself. that's what fitness has taught me, and I wouldn't be me without WELCOME TO #gainzlife .
