What a night! Karin Plato sold out Jocko’s Lounge!

And we’re still feeling the magic…

The audience was wonderful and attentive. You could hear a proverbial pin drop when the band played!

Karin brought her signature playful swing, and the band locked in right behind her.

Special thanks to Nate Adams for filling in on bass!

This video is a little snippet of the intermission between sets with the legendary Stu Goldberg chatting with friends.

Nights like this remind us why we love bringing this music to the valley.

Were you there last night?

About last Sunday’s Jazz Vespers…
It felt like a transcendent return.
No applause between songs—just breath, silence, and shared presence. The acoustics, the crystal bowl, the stillness—it felt as if we were inside the music together.
Gratitude to St. Andrew’s-Wesley, Reverend Dan Chambers, Pastor Benjamin MacRae, and my incredible musical brothers @chrisgestrin, Conrad Good, and @buff_allen And to everyone who leaned in with me—thank you.
A special shout-out to jazz legends Lorraine Foster and @karinplatomusic for being there in support.
We closed with “You’ll Never Walk Alone”—a first for me, and a deeply personal anthem of hope, courage, and solidarity. In these charged times, its message feels especially clear: stay strong, be the light, and remember—you are never truly alone.
Sunday was a return—and a new beginning.
May we all find our song again, and walk together in the light. ✨🤍
