- 6.9.2026 Vernissage 7.8. Featuring works by Jutta Eberhard, Saeed Foroghi, Ingo Gerken, Alex Lebus, Caro Mantke, Carolin Martin, Matthias Mayer, Irina Novarese and Sylvia Schultes (sound art). In these turbulent and calamitous times, we are repeatedly faced with the dilemma of choosing between self-improvement and regeneration, or participation in public and political life. Political disputes are being fought more fiercely, the tone is becoming harsher, and friendships are breaking down. The exhibition explores conflicts and contradictions. The works of the 10 artists highlight this tension from various perspectives and address critical situations, ambivalences and discrepancies. HAPPY FACE / UGLY CIRCUMSTANCES 08. ___ Beteiligte Künstler*innen: Jutta Eberhard (@juttaeberhard) Saeed Foroghi (@saeed.foroghi) Ingo Gerken (@ingogerken) Karø Goldt (@karoegoldt) Alex Lebus (@alexlebus) Caro Mantke (@caromantke) Carolin Martin (@carolinmartin_) Matthias Mayer Irina Novarese (@irinanovarese) Sylvia Schultes (@sylvia_schultes) Kuration und Text: Karø Goldt (@karoegoldt) Gefördert durch: Stadt Halle (Saale) Land Sachsen-Anhalt Liebelt Stiftung Hamburg
