Happy Anniversary, Kat!

I’m so incredibly grateful for you. We’ve been through a lot over these past three years, and through every season, I’m so thankful to have you by my side.

Thank you for being so loving, patient, and Christ-centered. Thank you for always pointing me to God and encouraging me to put Him first. Thank you for your amazing heart and the love and compassion you have for the people around you.

One of my favorite things has been watching you grow over these past few years into the godly woman God has called you to be. I’m so proud of you, and I’m so thankful that I get to experience life, marriage, and everything God has ahead of us with you.

I love you, Kat. Here’s to three years and many, many more.

Maui Memories and Gospel Moments

This week our family made some memories that we’ll never forget.
We spent time in beautiful Maui, worshiped at Hope Chapel in Kihei, explored places like Twin Falls and the Kenai Peninsula, enjoyed the stunning beaches, and soaked in the beauty of one of God’s most amazing creations.

We had an incredible dinner cruise with Trilogy, snorkeled at Honolua Bay, ate way too much great food, laughed until our sides hurt, and did our fair share of shopping.

But what made this trip truly special wasn’t just the scenery—it was the people.

Along the way, we had several Gospel conversations. Those moments reminded me that no matter where we are—at church, on a boat, in a restaurant, or walking through a beach town—God is always at work and always opening doors to share the hope of Jesus.

Most of all, I’m grateful for my family. Time together is a gift. The older I get, the more I realize that these shared experiences, conversations, and memories are treasures that last far longer than any vacation.

Thank you, Lord, for family, laughter, adventure, and opportunities to make Your name known wherever we go.

You carry the light and love of Jesus everywhere you go, and it shows in every life you touch. You’re known and loved all across Arvada—especially by generations of students who’ve been blessed enough to have you as their 4th or 5th grade teacher for three decades.

You are the relational to my relentless, the compassion to my passion—the perfect balance I didn’t know I needed.

God has blessed me with an incredible wife, @jeremy.stier and @kailey_stier with an amazing mom, and @kat.stier with a wonderful mother-in-law. And beyond our family, so many others have been impacted by your sweet, strong, faithful heart.

Had so much fun with my beautiful wife, @kat.stier and my dog, Colt! We got to introduce Colt to the ocean last night and let’s just say he loved it! Pray for us to have fun and that we will have lots of opportunities for Gospel conversations!

judah learned to smile, and zion learned how to run from us LOL (he loves the chase; i do not). we spent so much time w friends and serving w our @archaeochurch family.

even w the craziness of postpartum/2under2/life in general, i am so overwhelmed by the goodness of God through the known and unknown. i am so grateful to be a wife and mom, a friend and sister, and so many other things. i am so grateful for His grace.

I love living in Colorado. Although it’s been an extremely dry and warm(ish) winter, one of the upsides is being able to take a winter hike with my lovely bride, @dstier.

Hiking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado is part of our marriage. We’ve been doing it for decades now.

A lot of places are beautiful. Colorado is majestic. It inspires worship songs in our hearts!

When someone tells me, “I’d never live in Colorado. It’s too liberal” I always have the same response…“The mountains don’t vote.” 😄

I am grateful for my wife of 35 years. She is strong, yet sweet. She has helped me to become a better, more compassionate leader. She is adventurous. And, as a 30 year public school veteran teacher, she is a living legend in our town of Arvada.

Also, the “J Tree” in this reel is where my son @jeremy.stier proposed to his awesome wife @kat.stier.

Come to Colorado sometime and go on a few hikes. You won’t regret it.

It’s been an honor to watch you grow up and grow into the man of God you are today. @dstier and I are SO PROUD of you, your grit and your passion for Jesus and evangelism!
