I wish you could’ve seen my face when she sent me this picture. My jaw literally dropped.

This is my friend Kathleen, and when she shared her Thanksgiving-to-Thanksgiving comparison, it stopped me in my tracks. She was one of the very first friends who trusted me after my switch from BODi to MAKE. She grabbed the same pack I did back in February (which means this is just 9 months of using natural peptides!)

And here’s the thing: the shifts with MAKE aren’t usually extreme at first. They’re working at the cellular level, helping your body function the way it was designed to from the inside out.

But this is what it’s about:
NOT quick fixes or extreme things that make you go back and forth and have a million start and stop points.
INSTEAD it’s lasting change. Change that goes way beyond a before-and-after picture.

Part of her message to me said this:
Last Thanksgiving I was uncomfortable in my body. Bloated, puffy, frustrated. I lived in really stretchy black leggings because I didn’t even want to know what size jeans I wore.

This year I feel more confident. I can’t believe the difference in my face! I just bought a size down in jeans from before I was pregnant! Plus my body moves better I can keep up with my toddler. Thank you for sharing these peptides with me!”

As we head into the holidays, will you trust me when I say: A small change now can have a lasting impact on how you feel next year?

I felt like the girl that no one minded having around, but that no one missed when I was gone.

It’s in all of us to be desired, of course from a spouse, but also from a group of friends. We want to feel like our life matters and makes a difference, and isn’t just some thing that others are indifferent towards.

That doesn’t go away when we graduate.

It doesn’t go away when we get married.

It certainly doesn’t disappear when we have kids.

Our church merged with another church in February and I’ve been leaning into all the ways to connect because having a strong church family is so important to me. But I know that I can ALSO create strong friendships with the women who decide to do BODi with me. I have done it before and although it’s shifted through the years it’s growing into something simple yet beautiful and I can’t wait to see where it goes in this next season of life. It’s fun to look back on these pictures and the memories they bring - a reminder of what’s possible when we step out of our comfort zone a little.

It starts for me with showing up in this space as authentically and welcoming as I can be because I know God will connect me to the women he wants in my life. He has already been doing it and I have no doubt it will continue! But I want to invest my time, vulnerability, attention, money, vacations, and prayers into the women who are pursuing the same things I am: to live our best lives in a way that is honoring to Christ, work diligently in all areas including health and relationships, encourage each other in the struggles of raising littles well, and create an additional income stream like the Proverbs 31 woman!

And not that it’s required, buuuuut it seems like most of my team has a connection to Whitworth and many still live in Spokane 😉 Don’t pull back and isolate in the challenging seasons of life. Lean in to something that could help in ALL the ways! I’m ready for the next wave of memories. Are you going to be in the picture??
