@katarinaloncar The rhythmic order of the mushroom gills holds a graphic beauty that artists have long borrowed, and I couldn’t resist either…

“I choose paper for my botanical art because it brings me joy in every step of the process. Its versatility and softness make it a pleasure to work with, allowing me to shape intricate details effortlessly. Creating with paper fills me with happiness, as it transforms my vision into delicate, lifelike pieces that connect with others and celebrate the beauty of nature.”

Half Tulip
Got inspired this week by the great @katarinaloncar and her half rose, you need to check her out 💕 a few days later @jwhorner_ posted a half tulip, you need to check him out too😉 so my next project was safe!
I love how the stamen turned out, but the petals could be a little bit more formed! So my tulip is already dying😅

More beautiful English roses in eggshells from a demonstration I sent out in September. The makers of these roses are tagged in each photo, except the rose in the last photo, which is by Kay Corrigan. Love love love!
