Two friends pulled off a wedding for the books. It was a homegrown, DIY desert shindig in the heart of the national park they call home. We rallied from near and far, despite weather that initially tried to dissuade us. There was even a cave rave, y’all.

There was no shortage of film to capture moments from the evening. Guests snapped polaroids and I snapped two different rolls—warm hues, semi effective flashes, and light leaks galore!

It can be the busiest and quietest, all depending on time of year. No echoing conversations on rock, instead only footprints becoming acutely loud to your own ears. This place is where a road view can capture you, a trail can invigorate you, and the backcountry can inspire you.

A year ago @katconn and I ventured into the needles district of Canyonlands National Park. Little did I know that this trip would be a sweet (and chilly) good-bye to a place I hold dear. A couple of weeks later I’d be whisked off on a new adventure; with a reminder to take advantage of the life and friends one is presently with . I couldn’t be more grateful for the life I’ve chosen and for the lovely faces (both rock and human) I’ve met along the way. “Live life to the fullest.” Although cheesy , the well-known reminder couldn’t be more true.

We had the Holiday Hop of our absolute DREAMS on Friday night 🥹

If you’re looking for that classic New England holiday feel, RUN, don’t walk to Old Wethersfield! We have so much gratitude for the amazing women that hosted us for our event this weekend. Big thank you to @soulshineyogact and @shopcastorandpoly for opening up your space for us to make this possible (if you haven’t been, check them out. These badass sisters own the coolest boutique and yoga studio you’ll ever see).

Also, big thank you to @heirloommarket for always providing the greatest atmosphere no matter the time of day ✨

Enjoy your holiday season everyone, and keep your eye on the page. We will be back and better than ever in 2024!! DM us if you have any events you’d like to see this year 🤗

Water is an artist in the desert. It creates a scene of life against the barren rock and sand; verdancy coincides with where it trickles, pools, and flows. Our activities are both dependent and limited by it.

A river provides a perspective unlike a hike to the top or bottom of a canyon. Floating by, you are simply a witness to the relationship between solid and liquid. A spring, even when planned to pass, brings joy and relief to thirst of all animals. No gift from nature should be taken for granted.

This platform doesn't favor the verticals, so I seldom share them. Although @canyonlandsnps is a park of sweeping views and endless horizons, there is something special about capturing so far below and above you from a different perspective.

This park has the quality of very unique landscapes all within one delineated boundary; spires, craters, riparian areas, rugged crumbling canyons, just to name a few. We can scramble up high or traverse down low, squeeze between rock fins or walk out to edges, but our speck on the landscape's grand timeline remains the same.

It’s never a dull day with @katconn . Here’s to fried egg kimchi burgers and off duty backcountry shenanigans. Life is good.
