69KG SUBJR WORLD CHAMPION🌍🏆

68.65kg / 151.3lbs bw
squat: 152.5kg / 336lbs🥈(-5kg meet pr)
bench: 110kg / 242lbs🥇(+7kg meet pr)
deadlift: 210.5kg / 464lbs🥇(+23kg meet pr & world record 🌍 — 11.5kg over previous record)
also shown: 200.5kg / 442lbs — broke the world record on my second attempt, which felt especially good after failing 200kg 3 months ago at nationals

total: 473kg / 1042lbs🥇(+30kg meet pr and only 7.5kg under total world record)

i’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe how i feel about this meet, mostly because i don’t think i’ve fully processed it yet. so i’ll just focus on what’s most important to me.

the thought of becoming a world champion has been on my mind since i started powerlifting. every ounce of work i’ve put in has been to achieve this goal. i’ve daydreamed about this moment a thousand times, but i never imagined how special it would actually be.

i’m extremely grateful to call myself a world champion, but i’m even luckier to have experienced it with the people around me. hugging and crying with some of my favorite people after my last deadlift will definitely be a core memory for the rest of my life. 🫂

@jrflanigan and @hestolemymojo, thank you for making the 15-hour flight + 3-hour shuttle a little less unbearable 😭 but actually, james, thank you for always believing in me even when i don’t fully believe in myself. i genuinely couldn’t imagine anyone else in my corner, and you making the long and very expensive trip to south africa means more than i can say. and sonia, i’m so lucky to not only have a friend like you, but someone who constantly pushes me to be better. from you dancing and singing in the warmup room, to jumping into your arms after my last bench, to crying together after my deadlift, i genuinely couldn’t imagine experiencing this meet with anyone else. i’m going to miss training with you both at SMG more than you know, but we’ll run it back next summer ;)

and thank you to everyone who supported me, whether you were at the competition or back home. the amount of love i felt throughout this entire experience is something i’ll never forget ❤️

very proud of this ending to my subjr career 🤝

Good luck to these 2 LTS Lifters as they take on the Subjunior + Junior World Championship this weekend in Sun City, South Africa!

@arden.hyatt.lifts will compete in the 63kg subjunior category and is coming off of winning both High School Nationals and Age Division Nationals, winning best overall lifter at High School Nationals. She is now a 2 time representative of Team U.S.A. and will have one of the biggest battles for first place of all weight classes at the world championship against Giada Spadaro of Italy and Ayana Nwankpa of Great Britain!

@katelyn57kg is now a 3 time representative of Team U.S.A., competing at both the World Championship and the Pan American Championship the past 2 years. In her first world Championship 2 years ago, she took 11th place, at last year’s Pan American Championship, she took 2nd place, and now at the 2026 World Championship she is projected either 2nd or 3rd place!

They know the deal, Lettuce Fight! 🥬🥊

Firstly, I wanted to thank @urbanpowerhouse my powerlifting gym and community for helping me get through this prep up until nationals along with my coach @evanhawk_ for helping me overcome injuries and build up into this meet. And Lastly, @thenhcsathletics my school, friends and family for helping me all throughout my high school years, allowing me to get to the competitive level I am currently at in the sport. With this being the last nationals I’ll be competing at as a high schooler, the journey that I’ve had, all the ups and downs throughout each meet, I hope to bring greatness for everyone who has supported me throughout my time of powerlifting. Thank you and I love you all!
