As you all know, this is my beautiful girl, Katelyn. This girl has done so much for me, that most wouldn’t believe it! This girl has brought me a happiness that I didn’t know I could find within myself. This girl has defended me in times I could never defend myself. This girl has loved me in times where I felt I could never be loved. This girl has shown me how crazy I am for her, not knowing I could ever be this crazy about someone. We have been together for 2 years. In these 2 years, we have had our ups and downs. We’ve loved hard, we’ve cried hard, we’ve struggled and strived together in the easiest and most difficult of times. This girl has been so patient and forgiving with me. In times where I’ve made her more mad than I ever have before, she turned right back around and forgave me. Love is hard, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. What makes love easy isn’t the love itself, it’s the person you are in love with. A person who loves you so much that they’ll always tell you to be better. A person who loves you so much that they show their support no matter the situation. A person who loves you so much that they will cry and hurt in front of you because you make them feel safe. A person who wants everything in life to be with you. A person who, even when they disagree with you, still loves and supports you. A person who truly loves you for you, even with all the negatives you see within yourself. A person who’s willing to accept those differences and love them as they love you. Finding this person is so rare, and a lot of people aren’t lucky enough to find this person in their life. That’s a tale I’ll never have to worry about telling, because I know I’ve found my person. Kate, I love you more than anything in this world. I love loving you! It’s never a job. It’s never hard to do. You make it easier than anyone ever could! You mean more than everything to me. I’m so happy that for 2 years you’ve decided I’m your person. Although I cannot promise to be perfect; I promise to love you harder every second you allow me to. Happy 2 years to us baby girl! I Love You!

Woke up a state champ again!!

I am so beyond blessed that I was able to be apart of 2 state championship teams!! That’s unreal!! Thank you softball for the best 18 years of my life. Saying goodbye to you won’t be easy but our time has come to an end. From that little Lightning girl to now a 2 time State Champ Cougar, softball has been my constant and parting with it will be the biggest heartbreak of my life. I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for me in the sports world. Going to be trading my sunburns for floor burn and trading my cleats for volleyball shoes. Thank you to my Dad for giving me some of my best friends and amazing memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Southwestern Randolph High School for the best 4 years of my life. Once a coug, always a coug. 16 signing out. #statechampsbaby
