SHE’S MARRIED!!! 💕💐

There’s not a caption long enough to capture what this girl means to me. She’s (obviously) gorgeous, she’s hilarious, she’s so much fun. But much deeper than that she is a fierce supporter, an incredible example of hard work and determination, and someone who genuinely makes me a better human being simply by being around her. I am so honored that I got to be a part of this celebration 💕 cheers to the Shoemakers!

A garden of their own: Elopement in Kyoto 🪴⛩️

Katelynn and Micah wanted an outdoorsy setting away from downtown.

They wanted to say their vows, and they wanted the photos to include both far-away shots and close-ups, so the place and the two of them would each get their moment.

For a ceremony that needed to feel private, I presented two options in Kyoto. The first was to rent a private garden.

24 was a hard year in a lot of ways, but one that allowed me to see the sovereignty of Jesus so clearly and how faithfully He has carried me through it all. i’m so thankful for the friends and family who have loved me through every season and made this year so special! 25 is the year i FINALLY finish school forever and get to step into a profession i’m so excited and honored to be a part of. feeling so grateful for this life and so excited for what the Lord has in store for 25!!

Building Magic City Games takes us to some pretty cool places.

This week it meant jumping on a bike and joining the Cahaba Cycles Friday night ride.

They’ve supported what we’re building for years. Getting the chance to show up for what they’re building is the easy part.

What a weekend 🪄🏃🏋🏻‍♀️🔥🙌

Year 3 working @magiccity.games and we just keep getting better! I am honored that @micahshoemaker @btg0002 & @katelynnpattersonn7 trust me running Athlete Control to make sure our athletes know exactly what they’re doing warming up, before taking the floor, and everything in between during the weekend.

Every year there’s more to learn from and grow with, and this role just continues to build and we are going to be the best dang AC around, I have no doubt!

This year was extra special because I got to get back to Bham and see some of my absolute favorite people, and cannot wait to see them all again soon! 🫶

Year five of Magic City Games.

It’s hard to believe where this journey has gone over the last five years. It started with me standing on the field as a volunteer, just taking photos. Now I have the privilege of leading an incredible photo and media team while creating opportunities for people I care about because of how much this competition has grown.

This past week is still a bit of a blur. I’m more exhausted than I’d like to admit, and I still haven’t fully collected my thoughts enough to put everything into words. But one thing I know for sure is how proud I am of the team that was here this weekend. They worked relentlessly, embraced the long days, and never stopped chasing the moments that mattered. I’m incredibly grateful for every one of them.

Excited for everyone to get their content.

As for me, it’s time to head home, soak in a little quiet, and spend some much-needed time with my new son. Five years down. We’re just getting started. 🤘🏼
