Used our strengths in the areas of others’ weaknesses & vice versa … all for the greater good!

Now it’s become an US vs. THEM mentality out there in this crazy world, in everything from traffic, to careers, politics, religion, and beyond; thinking our way is the one and only right way!

I’m truly beginning to strongly believe in the things people are saying about civilizations being wiped off the earth every few hundreds of years - WHY?

Because THIS power struggle way of living is NOT sustainable! No good can come from in-fighting and having the pendulum swing so far each way every time!

We need to listen more and speak less - we have two ears and only one mouth for good reason, and she explains it here beautifully!

Before anyone steps onto the land, the weaving begins.

Not just the physical land—though yes, we are preparing her too. Clearing paths, readying the glamping tents, planning nourishing meals.
Getting this place ready to hold women in circle again.

But even more than that…
We’re preparing the field of belonging.

A field that is both seen and unseen.
Woven through prayer, through presence, through the quiet tending of our own hearts.

Last night, I lit a fire.
I prayed to the water—to wash away resistance, fear, the edges of self-doubt that arise when we are truly seen.
I prayed to the fire—to burn away what no longer belongs in this next chapter.
To stoke the fire in our hearts.

This isn’t something Kate and I are doing alone. We are held in this work—by the land, by the elements, by our ancestors, and by the unseen ones who walk with us.

And you, too, are part of this field.
Even now. Even before you arrive.

The retreat begins before we gather.
It begins here—in the prayers, the preparations, the remembering.
