Some trips are just trips. Others become a part of your life.

Peru was already my favourite country I’ve ever visited, and the Salkantay Trek was the highlight of my 4 months backpacking through South America. But experiencing it with this group made it something completely different.

12 people. One wild adventure. Countless memories.

Thank you for bringing the energy, being open-minded, embracing the uncomfortable moments, and fully committing to the adventure. You guys made this trip what it was.

From Cusco to the Salkantay Trek, Machu Picchu, the laughs, the chaos, the early mornings and everything in between, I genuinely wouldn’t change a thing.

This trip was far more than I expected, and I know I’ll remember it for the rest of my life.

Our first global group trip was an absolute success. From the very first night, the group clicked, and over the next 10 days, we built some truly unforgettable KONEXIONS.

We arrived as strangers and left as best friends.

Together, we explored the streets of Cusco, trekked through snow-covered mountains and lush rainforest, connected with Peruvian nature and culture, and stood in awe at one of the ancient wonders of the world.

But as incredible as the destinations were, the people made this trip what it was.

10 days. 12 people. So many memories. An unforgettable experience.

To everyone who joined us in Peru, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, showing up with an open mind, embracing every moment, and making this first global trip something we’ll never forget.

Peru 2026 🇵🇪

I joined this trip not knowing most people there and came back with friendships that will last a lifetime.

On the first night it already felt like we had all known each other for years. So many unforgettable memories from this trip. Laughing our asses off at 1am and then having to wake up 3 hours later to start our hike, intense card games and deep conversations.

Visiting Machu Picchu wasn’t even the highlight of the trip. It was every moment I spent laughing with this group of awesome people.

It’s crazy how quickly a group of strangers can become some of your best friends in only a matter of days. I’m forever grateful that I went on this trip.

Peru 2026 🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪

I went into this trip with 10 randoms from Canada and 1 from the U.S. and left with 11 amazing people I can now call my friends. Along this trip so many memories were made that I will cherish forever. Some Memories that can’t be captured on picture or video. Every deep conversation, every laugh, every time we pushed eachother to continue on climbing a mountain, or even trying Cuy (Guinea pig) for the first time. Going out to connect with people and love each other just as God intended us to in John 15: 12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” Going out to connect with nature and appreciating everything God created for us out of the immense love he has for us. Psalm 96: 11-12 “Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice… Let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy.”

To Alex, Celestina, Charlotte, Justin, Kat, Libby, Liz, Logan, Owen, Stacey, and Zach, thank you guys for such a memorable trip. I am forever grateful for the memories we shared on the trip and how genuine every moment felt. Love you guys and look forward to seeing you all again in the future.

And to anyone reading this go out and connect with the world. There is so much more to learn and experience outside of your home, GA, or the U.S. so many things to learn from other people and perspectives to gain that can change your life. Make sure those trips make it out the groupchat. Don’t live your life in fear. Take risks (smartly) and enjoy the beautiful life we are given. Don’t live a life without purpose. Enjoy the life God gave you to the fullest.
