Dieci anni fa POST A #SUD arrivava sul grande schermo, con la sua prima al Festival del Cinema Europeo.
Fra i crediti compare anche il mio nome, come autrice, in qualità di ideatrice del progetto @salentoupndown, da cui tutto è partito. Un racconto nato in uno dei primi momenti in cui Instagram iniziava a uscire dai confini più informali per diventare linguaggio, narrazione e strumento.

Negli anni, il progetto ha continuato a generare contenuti, studi, pubblicazioni e riflessioni, trovando spazio fra università, libri e case study.

Oggi, a distanza di dieci anni, resta la traccia di un’intuizione che ha saputo intercettare un cambiamento prima che diventasse evidente.
E ogni tanto fermarsi a guardare il percorso fatto, con un pizzico di orgoglio, ci sta.

A thousand-slide carousel could never capture the essence of my love for Persian culture & my homeland. From the timeless verses of Hafez and Saadi to the spiritual wisdom of Mowlana and Ferdowsi, every word speaks to the soul. I long for the sweet taste of pomegranate, the lively, infectious scent of Barbary filling the air, the hustle of Tehran’s bazaar where stories are exchanged with every step, and the ancient, silent majesty of Persepolis. Persian carpets, revered across the world, and the meticulous beauty of khatam kari, each thread, each inlay, a work of art. The graceful boteh jegheh, our paisley, unfurls like a tale of old, while the powerful seemorgh, our Persian pheonix, soars across myth and legend.
I long for my people, my land, my home. The energy, the heritage, the artistry, the boundless curiosity of our youth… there’s a worldliness that the world often misses, a richness that lives in every heartbeat of our culture. Dooset daram ❤️ how I miss it, how I love it, with all that I am.
