Had a blast learning things and getting coached by @dozer.wl @weskitts22 @attitudenation @romanjiujitsu

Bonus was getting to hang out with this crew of people the whole weekend.

Long story short -- can't wait for the next one and all the snacks 🍩🍩🍩

We could not be more proud of @katiebrust_ performance at @usa_weightlifting @virusintl Series 2 in Fort Worth, TX this past Sunday.

This was STS’ first appearance as a club at a national level meet and Katie represented us with great competitive spirit!

She finished with a 4/6 performance with a best Snatch of 60kg and best Clean & Jerk 82kg.

This was a competition PR in the Snatch, CJ, and total for Katie.

We look forward to more improvement and great lifting from Katie moving forward!

Big thank you to @em_dorsh for supporting with nutrition coaching and @erd.wl for help in the back room.

✨💔 HEARTBREAKERS 2026 Recap 💔✨

I decided on October 17th, 2025 that I wanted to attempt to compete in a powerlifting meet and I reached out to an amazing friend (@lokadahl0101) about what meet I should try out. Her immediate response was “Try the Heatbreakers Meet” and I said okay and immediately signed up and got to work.

Fast forward to February 9th, 2026 — these were the AMAZING results of that almost 4 months of training. It really paid off.

3rd Attempt at Squat: 107.5kg ⚪️⚪️⚪️
2nd Attempt at Bench: 82.5kg ⚪️⚪️⚪️ (2lb+ PR) - failed 85kg
3rd Attempt at Deadlift: 170kg ⚪️🔴⚪️ (15lb+ PR & STATE RECORD)
Total: 360kg 🥇

First place in my Submasters weight class (I was the only one 😂🙊) and technically two stage records in deadlift (160kg and 170kg).

Want to a special shout out to my coaches, @katiebrust_ and @rickytheptcruzer, for all the amazing support and love leading up to and during the meet. I COULD NOT have done it without you guys. WE DID THAT SHIT 🏋🏽‍♀️😭🥇 Cannot wait to do another with you guys by my side. LFG.

Now time to get back to work and do another 😤💔✨
See you guys next year.

Maybe the real PRs are the friends we met along the way.

Weekend recap!! Wow. I went to @dozer.wl weightlifting clinic and I must say it was amazing. I learned a lot and have some new things to focus on more than just training itself. Mindset and recovery are just as important. Everyone needs a little bit a delusion in there life to feel confident enough to through 200+ pounds over their head.

I made a bunch of new friends and can’t wait to watch everyone grow and hopefully run into each other at national meets.

Also max out day did not disappoint!! I hit two new PR’s for a new total of 177!!

Snatch: 77 kg
C&J: 100 kg

Coach: @officialpowertraining
Weightlifting Clinic: @dozer.wl
Gym: @stonehengeweightlifting
