POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last night, we met up to talk about The Book of Autumn by Molly O’Sullivan and I’m not exaggerating when I say the discussion could have gone on for hours. It was one of those stories that makes you want to theorize and immediately cast the movie adaptation in your head. (Because yes… we all think this NEEDS to be a movie or show)

Huge thank you to Molly for sending us bookmarks and campus maps — having those little details to flip back to while reading made the world feel so real and immersive. We loved it.

Already counting down the days to see what she writes next. 🍁✨

Grasping for Starlight will be released TOMORROW! I’m so thankful for all of the support and well wishes over the year and a half that it took to get this book into the hands of readers. There are MANY people that helped make this possible, but a special thanks goes to @heatherdanielnarrator for her amazing narration of Grasping for Starlight and to my Street Team friends that helped me promote over these last few months: @bookswithaudreyb @bookgnometomes @remarkablebooklife @foxy_books86 @katiesbookmarks . Here’s mine: We Used To Live Here by Marcus Kliewer.

💖 LOVER 🌸
You Need To Calm Down ~ a book you think is overrated

Here’s mine: The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling.

🌲 FOLKLORE 🩶
my tears ricochet ~ a book that made you cry

Here’s mine: I’m not really one to cry at books, but the combination of reading Normal People: The Scripts and then also watching each episode after had me feeling all the emotions. The acting is incredible!

🤎 EVERMORE 🍁
‘tis the damn season ~ your favourite festive or seasonal read

Here’s mine: Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I adore this story and the Netflix series always makes me feel super festive! 🎄

🍸 MIDNIGHTS 💎
Karma ~ a book you always recommend

Here’s mine: The Appeal by Janice Hallett. I think this is a good one for anyone who hadn’t read in a while or needs to get out of a slump. It’s super digestible, really hooks you into the plot, and has lots of fun twists and turns. It’s a unique format too! 👏🏻

📠 THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT 🤍
I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can) ~ your favourite enemies to lovers couple

Here’s mine: I’m going with Violet and Xaden from Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros.

📚 Any 5 star predictions?

Hopefully all of them!!

What can I say…? Except, I had gift cards and a pre-order that needed to be collected.

99% sure the use of gift cards doesn’t break a book buying ban, since it’s not my money making the purchase? Right?

I finally have HellBent. I cannot stress to you enough how excited I am to dive into this and I will be dedicating all of Wednesday to it!

And then I stumbled upon the next three reads…

✨Princess of Souls - I read Christo’s To Kill a Kingdom last year and loved it. I then saw @samiaslibrary read and adore Princess of Souls and knew it was an immediate TBR addition!

✨For The Wolf - the lovely @katiesbookmarks recommended this one and it was the first one that leapt into my hand while I was browsing!

✨ The Final Empire - I’ve been wanting to try a Sanderson for so long and when I saw @youcancallmefidoesbooks reading and enjoying this one I knew I had to have it.

So really, it’s Booksta’s fault I made these non-purchases!

❓What was the last book you bought based off a friend’s recommendation or because it was all over Booksta?

{My wonderful Bookshop Candle is from @whisporia - for 10% off your next order use my rep code SAM10 }
