Why do we love our salty plunges?🧜🏻‍♀️

a mood lift
softer stress
easy-on-the-joints floating
better sleep

The BEST part is doing it TOGETHER.🫶🏻

It’s so much easier to get in when you’re surrounded by women cheering you on. When we show up as a unit, the energy is contagious and we are unstoppable.🌊

Practicing wellness rituals like salty plunges benefits not only our health but our overall well-being.💙

Save this post for later 🍫🤍

These are two of our go-to recipes when we’re craving something sweet — Dark Chocolate Raspberry Bark and Dark Chocolate Coconut Date Bark. Simple ingredients, easy to make, and SO good.

And dark chocolate brings a little something extra! It’s a source of magnesium, an important mineral that supports normal muscle and nerve function — plus, it makes these treats taste like an actual dessert.

A reminder: dessert doesn’t need to be “bad.” Enjoy the foods you love, find balance, and try simple swaps when they sound good to you.

Try one (or both!) and tag us in your post or send us some pictures — we’d love to see what you make! 🌊

A Blast From the Past 🌊☀️

The last time I saw Kelly & Bob was 2013 — our final training session together before I left. Thirteen years later, they popped up on Nantucket for a long weekend getaway, and it was just like I had trained them that week.

They looked amazing. Glowing, smiling, and still just as consistent with their wellness as the day I started working wth them. Seeing that kind of long-term commitment come full circle makes me so happy and also is a reminder as to why I love what I do. Being consistent. Doing the work. Being patient with yourself. Trying new things. It ALL WORKS! 💪🏻

In their words:

“Katie changed our lives many years ago. We had never had a personal trainer and were going down the wrong path for health. She literally inspired us and gave us the energy to turn things around. We will never forget that. We continued our workout and nutrition plan even after Katie moved. My husband and I get flying colors at physicals and I attribute it to the Katie kick-starter. When we planned a trip to Nantucket this summer we met up with her after many years. Same Katie, same energy, same smile. Katie is truly exceptional.” 🤍

September Intentions 🌊

New month, same island, fresh energy. As summer eases into fall on Nantucket, here’s what we’re focusing on at The Wellness Concierge:

✨ Consistency over intensity — showing up matters more than a perfect workout
✨ Eating well, not perfectly
✨ Finding balance between training hard and enjoying the season change
✨ Making space for community — on the beach, in the gym, wherever we gather

Labor Day Weekend on Nantucket ☀️🇺🇸 🌊

Whether Labor Day marks the end of your Nantucket summer or the beginning of your favorite Locals summer days on island, there’s still plenty of time to soak it all in.

Move your body. Pack something nourishing for the beach. Get outside. Put your phone away. Stay for sunset. Go out to dinner. Have the ice cream. Spend time with the people you love. 🤍

Because wellness isn’t about doing everything perfectly — it’s about finding a balance that allows you to feel good while still enjoying your life.

So wherever this long weekend takes you, end summer on a high note and make the most of every last bit of it. 🌊

And if you’re looking for a little guidance along the way, The Wellness Concierge is here to help you create a wellness routine that fits into your life — not the other way around!

Happy Early Labor Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

A little behind the scenes of The Wellness Concierge 🤍🌊

I’m so excited and grateful to share my recent feature in South Carolina Voyager!

From growing up chasing waves to building The Wellness Concierge, this article shares a little more about my story, what inspired me to finally bring this dream to life, and the philosophy behind everything I do.

For me, wellness has never been about perfection or a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s about nourishing your body, moving in ways that bring you joy, spending time outside, and creating a life that genuinely feels good.

This first season of The Wellness Concierge has been such an incredible experience. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has supported me, trusted me, worked alongside me, and helped turn this vision into something real.

And we’re just getting started. I’m already dreaming, planning, and creating for 2027, and I can’t wait to share what’s next. ☀️🌊

Between classes, working, and staying active, I don’t always have time to make elaborate meals every day — and I’ve learned that eating well does not have to be complicated!

As a senior at the College of Charleston studying Exercise Science with a growing interest in nutrition + dietetics, I’ve become really passionate about the idea that food is fuel! Between school, working around 30 hours a week, and prioritizing movement, I rely on foods that are simple, versatile, nourishing, and actually realistic for a busy schedule.

These are a few of the staples I keep on rotation to help me feel energized, satisfied, and ready for whatever my day looks like. 🍌🥚🥑

I also believe that balance is key! I like to think of it as an 80/20 approach — focusing on nutrient-dense, whole foods most of the time while still leaving plenty of room for dinners out, treats, and time with friends. Because wellness should support your life, not take it over.

This is just a little look into what keeps me fueled through school, work + movement! ☀️

And if planning, shopping, or prepping balanced meals feels like one more thing on your to-do list, Nantucket Wellness Concierge offers meal prep services designed to support your lifestyle and make eating well a little easier!

5 kids. 3 weeks. 4 days a week.

Never thought I’d be the lady training a pack of teenage boys — but here we are!🤣😂 They showed up, they didn’t complain (much), and they put in real work. Flipping tires, grinding through circuits and sets, and showing up on time. They didn’t miss ONE session.

No phones, no excuses, just effort. Proud of this crew — 💪🏼🌊☀️
