Are you serious? Dude… $10.10 is not everything after everything. You know what I mean?

I died. ☠️☠️☠️

At least send the daily maximum!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

“If you still have to hear from him, at least he should start paying you for your time 💅🏼”

That’s exactly what I said to my private client when she showed me these.

At first, she thought these Zelles were hilarious and amusing so she kept them and continued accepting them.

Sometimes humor is the only way through before you’re ready for the full cut.

But eventually they weren’t funny anymore.

They became a source of dread.

A ping she didn’t want to hear.

A reminder of cord she was trying to cut.

Maybe she wasn’t ready yet.

Maybe she wanted to recoup some of the energy she had poured into him.

Maybe both.

Healing is not linear and neither is leaving.

You don’t have to be fully done to start protecting yourself.

Sometimes you accept the Zelle, laugh about it with your girl, and watch your bank balance go up!

But the time did come when the feeling shifted.

What once felt funny and free started to feel like a weight she no longer wanted to carry.

And when she was ready, she blocked him there too.

That’s sometimes what healing looks like.

Not a dramatic moment.

The actual middle work — tiny undramatic things that tie together beginnings and endings.

But turns out was just perimenopause

🩸Irregular bleeding - yess it really happened!!! Over the past 9 months, I’ve bled for 2 months straight. Don’t worry, I’ve been to all the doctors and ran all the tests and turns out everything is finer! It’s probably just stress. 👀🧐😑

My body can no longer handle stress like it used to and why should it??

Lowered estrogen and progesterone can trigger cortisol (stress hormone) spikes during perimenopause. So no, you’re not imagining it, you really are physiologically more stressed.

So this is when our rituals and practices come in. Ways for us to return home, to a sense of groundeness. Having established practices can be a lifesaver during times of distress and disruption.

My yoga practice has made me self aware of what I’m currently experiencing in my physical and subtle body and I use it to advocate for myself in all areas of my life.

I can’t deny what my body tells me.

🫩🥱Fatigue - the exhaustion is real ladies.

Without the right supplemental support with the guidance of my integrated health practitioner I doubt I’d be able to leave the house, let alone get off the couch.

And actually, for a while, a couple years ago, I wasn’t.

My body was so depleted from the years of horrible eating habits, starving and bingeing, black coffee on an empty stomach, ice cold smoothies first thing in the morning….

I needed a major re-haul in how, what, and when I ate and it’s made the most significant impact.

🔥🔥🔥Rage - who in the what?!??

Out of nowhere, it came. It was as if something that wasn’t mine, now lived in me. I was spiky and it was disorienting.

I wanted to break up with my boyfriend at least once a week and I just couldn’t figure out why everything and everyone was bugging the shit out of me.

The littlest things were setting me off. And so I started HRT.

This video was sent to me from my cousin and it had me reflecting on our ‘Live with Intention’ event, where we came together as Kapwa to create a space rooted in healing, self-care, and unity. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of community when we hold space for one another with love and purpose.

I’m still processing the magical day that was Saturday. To be able to finally share Adventures of Harley with loved ones means the world to me. I wrote the story three years ago, well before I understood what life without Harley would be like. I am forever grateful for the unconditional love and loyalty he spoiled me with. I hope to keep sharing this through the stories that I channel. I am so thankful to Remo, for being my puhfect creative counterpart. To Blue and Lucas for their support and talent in helping us launch. To Mel for helping us bring the book sonically to life. To Yooney for being a kind and gentle being. I had a super minor medical procedure done and the doctor wants me resting for the next week or two so group classes in Benicia are postponed and will be through March. I will be taking time to heal, deep dive in my education (somatic attachment therapy certification, restorative yoga training), focus on private client work (private sessions are still available ), work on collaborations with other teachers, healers, entrepreneurs, etc. and travel with friends 🌊🍹🧜‍♀️

Maybe I’ll create things here and there 🤷🏻‍♀️
