This past week, four UW–Madison students traveled to NYC for the Fashion Scholarship Fund Gala, celebrating their winning 2026 case study.

Our Vault members @annelisemcdonald, @katxemily, and @lily.kolakowski kicked off the week in Brooklyn with Kid Super, followed by an incredible few days of industry immersion. From conversations at the Calvin Klein office to a panel with WWD and leading designers, the experience led into a star-studded gala featuring icons like Tommy Hilfiger, Travis Scott, Gabriela Karefa-Johnson, Ciara, Russell Wilson, and many others.

The evening honored 160 Fashion Scholarship Fund scholars and Virgil Abloh Foundation Post-Modern Scholars—an inspiring celebration of the future of fashion. The week wrapped with a visit to the Levi’s office, where their latest collection was on display.

Thank you to the Fashion Scholarship Fund for championing the next generation of this industry. We’re honored our Vault members had the opportunity to connect with such influential leaders—and we know this is only the beginning.

Now that we've officially announced our Class of 2026, we're excited to share how our Member Schools across the country are celebrating their Scholars!
